| I do not celebrate Easter because it's Pegan. I do celebrate Christmas for the free presents. |

Yeah it depends.
Purple Haze, bey and insane. Is it pleasure or is it pain? Down on the ceiling, looking up at the bed. See my body painted blue and red. I see fetus unborns pointing at the time . Rush through space , my hair is blowing in their minds Through the haze I see a thousand crosses scratched in the maze |

Don't you think it's a little strange to celebrate holidays that represent something that you don't believe in?

| Being Atheists is then a religion, or a "set of rules" which restricts us from doing things we want? No. Most Atheists just don't believe in any god which is fine, Doesn't mean we can celebrate. |

Until Christmas and Easter are taken away as days off for work, then I will keep celebrating them as an american tradition, not a christian tradition.
Christmas in America should be about Santa, if you're gonna make it about Christ, you're establishing a religion in America. |

I'm my own opinion; in america which is where I'm at, you don't need to believe in any religion to have any holiday. I'm atheists and on Christmas, we all exchange gifts, then move on with our day like normal. It's been like that since I was a baby, but my parents never said they cared about what religion I cared about, it's all my choice.
TL;DR
We don't all celebrate the same ways. |

I can see the logic in Christmas, but easter wouldn't make sense.
After all,Easter is a completely religious holiday in my opinion. |

Opinion is the key word here.
And I don't really buy into easter bunnies anymore. :L |

The main part of Easter for Christians is that Jesus rose from the dead.

I can kind of understand celebrating Christmas, because Jesus was a real person that had a lot of impact on life.

I'm atheist and I celebrate Christmas...
I think most people now celebrate Christmas because either its common amongst others or parents think their kids will be sad if they don't get free presents either.
Only the religious care about how it is Jesus's birthday. |
