This weekend The Evil Dead remake came out to theaters. And at a Pawn Shop I happened to see a copy of The Evil Dead original movie with Bruce Campbell. So last night I put it into the DVD machine and I can tell you that this film blew me away. I loved every scene of it. What made me really enjoy this film is that when they would have a camera shot of the outside view of the house you could just see this other clip of footage being place in the top corner that was a moon. And how much blood that was in this film , I mean alot of it looked fake , but this was a great film for it to be made in the 80's. This movie is the definition to horror for me , this is a film I could watch again and again and again. So this film get's 10 screams out of 10. I really enjoyed it!
Today I am going to see the remake at the movie theater , so I will be coming out with a review either tonight or tomorrow. |

THIS MIGHT SOUND FAR-FETCHED, BUT IT LOOKED FAKE, BECAUSE IT WAS FAKE.
NO, I KID, I WAS ONE OF THE PEOPLE THAT DONATED BLOOD TO THE PROJECT.
Check out Evil Dead II it's much better. |

| What I mean in alot of movies I have watched the blood looked more realistic. But for an 80's film I guess the blood did look pretty good for it's time, |

| The original was soooooo good. I've been hearing that the new one isn't as funny but it still does the original justice. |

Welcome to the world of The Evil Dead.
Trust me, things only get crazier and better in the sequels. |

That was the first scene I saw of The Evil Dead.
I even have his face as my Facebook pic, when he's looking into the camera. |

"but i don't think that's the goal of the evil dead"
Each sequel becomes increasingly campier than it's predecessor, whether or not this is intentional is left up for debate, I suppose.
The original had elements of dark humour. The sequel put emphasis on this. The third film in the trilogy is over-the-top.
With, the pseudo-remake, they're simply going back to the original's routes. |

Ive come up with my ranking of the series
Evil Dead 2: Dead by Dawn, Evil Dead (2013) Army of Darkness The Evil Dead
I'd also like to say that I wish the abomination from the remake looked like this -
