This RP is a free-join Role play. That means there is no Character Sheet. Just hop right in.
You must start in one of two cities. That seems to allow characters to meet almost immediately into the role play. You must also follow the weather and time I post at the top of most of my posts.
! ~ History ~ ! A beautiful, silver river flows through the heart of Gelyd (Jel-id). Creatures of all races come to witness its beauty. It's protected by the guards of Silverpeak, a city built high on Silven, the mountain next to the Silver River. What few understand, however, is the Silver River's dark history. It was polluted by an age of Bronze and Silver: The age of the automatons. These automatons were being built by the thousands, and they would have consumed the world in their mechanical jaws if it weren't for a few heroes.
These heroes set off from two cities: Ashwyn and Beliid (Bel-lee-id).
You are these heroes. You are living their story, reviving their history. Bring the age of Bronze and Silver to an end, and make an attempt to prevent the Silver River from forming.
! ~ Cities and Places ~ ! You may start in one of the two cities:
Ashwyn - Ashwyn has a strong military, not unlike Beliid. However, Ashwyn is home to war leaders who have been studying war strategies for many centuries. They have won most of their battles through intelligence, and they often have the least amount of casualties after the battle. Ashwyn's economy consists of selling knowledge through books and scrolls. They are located to the West of the Running River, which later becomes the Silver River.
Beliid - Beliid also has a strong military, but they fight with brute force rather than strategy. They highly outnumber the Ashwyn military, but their commanders lack the training and education to lower the amount of casualties. The army of Beliid loses nearly 10% of their army after each battle. However, Beliid has a much higher population than Ashwyn, allowing them to quickly fill in for the dead foot soldiers. They also take advantage of mercenaries, hiring them for every battle. Beliid's economy consists of selling weapons and armor. Beliid is located to the East of the Running River.
The Cleansed Forest - The Cleansed Forest is the forest that rests in between Ashwyn and Beliid. The Running River flows through the center of it. This forest has a very misleading name. It was given this name because it was 'cleansed' by fire. The creators of the automatons wanted to unite the world to make it easier for them to control it, so they burned the forest to allow safe travel from Ashwyn and Beliid. But it's been years since that event, and the trees have already begun to grow. Some even reached their fullest height.
! ~ Rules ~ ! Just use common sense. I'm too lazy to list the rules here. But just because it's not listed, doesn't mean it's not a rule. I can create a new rule at any time.
[Time: 10 AM] [Ashwyn Weather: Cold, slight breeze, sunny, humid.] [Beliid Weather: Cold, no breeze, cloudy, dry.] [Cleansed Forest Weather: Cold, slight breeze, slightly cloudy, dry.] |

| Leon sits in a corner of a marketplace in Ashwyn. Hearing the enchanted murmurs of alchemists and writers always gives him a smile. |

Stephen wanders aimlessly around the city of Ashwyn, holding a book in his hand. "Where are the wizards?" he asks under his breath. |

I sit on my bed in Ashwyn, wondering about the age of bronze and steel. I am a huge advocate against the age of bronze and steel. I am wondering if we can ever stop the silver river.

I think of how cruel it is to start the automatons, and I think this as I walk downstairs. My friend calls to me "hey Aiden! Check out what I just found!" I walk outside and look in awe when I see an old, crumbled journal from the time before this age.

After nearly an hour of wandering, I see a sign. It reads, "Telachus' Tower". Many of the books I've read were written by a man named Telachus. I follow the dirt path towards the massive tower.
Dirt clouds form around me, and stain my faded, yellow robe. As I walk up to the door, and reach for the handle, a cloud of dust blows up into my eyes. I stop to rub them, but I am pulled forward by someone or something. |

I read the first page. My friend looks at it and whispers "Ok, let's read." I answer and flip the cover to the first page. It says 'I live in a wonderful, clean world of adventure. My life is just about perfect and I wouldn't change a thing.' I get sad about how bad our world is in this age, and how much better it was back then. I decided I need to make a change somehow.

To my surprise, I'm standing face to face with a man slightly taller than me. His beard barely leaves the bottom of his chin, and his hood keeps most of his face in the shadow. The man is wearing a dark robe, and has his arms folded.
I look on the ground and see my spell book. Slowly, I reach for it and pick it up. The man across from me doesn't seem to care. In fact, he doesn't even move. "You are the one who has been seeking my knowledge?" he asks.
I hold the spell book loosely. "If you are Telachus, then yes."
He removes his hood carefully, and sits down in an wooden chair that creaks with age. He lays his staff, a thin, twisted piece of wood, against his chair, and places his hands on his lap.
"Then you have come to the right place. What do you wish to learn?" "Everything." Telachus chuckles, then says, "I can not teach you everything, lest you be better than me."
Without another word, and slightly disappointed, I walk towards the door. Telachus would be difficult to talk to.
"Stop," he says. And I do. "I will teach you, but you must not teach anyone else." I turn around, and nod. |

I push myself up from the white brick wall, giving a grunt, as my white silk bandanna around my head flows behind me. I hear the murmurs becoming more talkative, and I swiftly approach a stand, holding many items crafted by a silversmith. The silversmith himself is running the stand, and turns around to greet a customer. I furtively grab a small ornate box with no lock and calmly walk away.
(I'm a bandit. May I make an appearance sheet?) |

"I'll teach you a few things," Telachus says, standing up.
He leads me outside, in the courtyard of his tower. Across from me stand three evenly spaced, straw figures.
"You are to freeze each of them in their tracks, with a needle of ice."
I nod and face the figures, preparing. Telachus moves his arms in a magical gesture, animating the three figures. It looks like I've spoken too soon. I slam two needles into each of the first two figures. Ice encases them, and they stand completely still. The third is much faster than the others. It steps side to side, evading my attacks, and closing in.
Panicked, I continue casting needles, none of them even close to hitting the figure. Within moments it slams into me, and knocks me into the grass.
"Again," Telachus says, not even bothering to help me up. |

| i like the idea of no cs, and no nothing, you just hop in quickly, describing yourself in RP, that's how role-playing should be. |

| {I don't think I was the first to make one of these Free Join RPs. In fact, I even doubt I was. But I made one a while back, and it reached 43 pages, which surprised me. I guess the majority of Roblox is lazy in a way that they don't want to do a lot of work, they just want to start RP'ing. That annoys me sometimes, though. Especially when they think "hopping right in" means 1 sentence for a story.} |

After waking up in Ashwyn, I found out I was late for my meeting with my nemesis. I went and met them behind the local inn. I drew my sword, and stabbed him through the stomach, and covered his mouth before he could scream and I said,"Sh. You don't want to wake up the guests sleeping in the building by us do you?" And then I took his blade and slit open his throat. I walked off, leaving no evidence of the crime. I went to train just incase I had to fight a war. |

| [@Zero; That's a bit of god-modding. Nemesis implies that you have been fighting with them for a while, and can't seem to beat them. I doubt you'd beat them this time, and on top of that, that easily.] |

I walk into the Sleeping Dwarf inn. As I sit down, the bartender approaches me for my order. I only ask for rum, but then someone approaches me.
"Why hello, I am new in Ashwyn." says the woman. "Greetings ma'am, my name is Vanthros." I reply back.
The bartender returns with my rum, I take a few sips while the lady speaks.
"Kalandria." "Pleasure to meet you, Kalandria." "Will you follow me please?" she says tugging my arm and pulling me away from the inn. |
