For gaming? No. Never buy a laptop for gaming because usually you will have little room to upgrade, especially considering that is an OEM system, which I doubt has a dedicated gpu. Yea it may run some non-demanding games at lower resolutions, but a gaming rig imo(maybe 99% of everyone) is a system that will run crysis at 1080p ultra smoothly :p |

Ehg. I can't really say good or bad to a PC. It really matters what you're using it for. Seeing as you say it can run some games you want to play fairly well, I think that's good enough for you.
However my computer can't even run Minecraft since it's a buisness computer and is made for frolicing through the interwebs. |

@Nak a business computer should be able to run minecraft since MC only requires like 1 GB of RAM and barely any CPU usage |

@Piratitty Well, it CAN run Minecraft, but not very well. We're talking about REALLY REALLY bad lag. Nomatter what video settings I put it on IN Minecraft, it takes me about five minutes to chop down a tree. I'm just going to qualify that as unplayable. XD |

@piratitty
Most business computers don't have a dedicated GPU or good enough integrated graphics to play Minecraft well.
Why are we even discussing Minecraft? Not like it's demanding. (Slightly due to poor optimization, but nothing noticeable) |

@piratitty
Your system is probably just old. Modern business systems have integrated gpus, which is bad, but remember MC is not gpu-intensive xD. |
