why would they do that?
north korea does nothing to benefit china
in fact, NK sucks up china's resources for bombs
china would probably stay neutral since america is it's most important trade country

Look.
North korea, China, Russia, and Iran have all signed a peace-treaty and said if U.S went to war with one they would all go to war. US better not go to war with them or we are screwed remember China owns our economy. |

| We can just not pay China like we did with france two hundred years ago. But the agreement they have is the issue. It would basically become NATO versus whatever they call themselves. |

First of all, North Korea is clearly a threat. This threat becomes evident mainly through NK's willingness to nuke us. And moreover, NK has said in conferences, "Death to the West, and death to America."
Second, China is not going to go to war with the U.S. China relies on the U.S. for the free market, and it's basically what sustains 90% of their capitalist economy. China is not going to jeopardize our free trade. |

First off, China isn't siding with N. Korea at all, they're most likely breaking ties with each other, politically.
How do I know? My teacher who have lived in North Korea for more than 6 years told me.

Yep, most likely. The leader Xi Jinping of China even put forth a plan recently that would call for the halting of NK's nuclear ambitions. |

| Because they have nuclear weapons and atomic bombs. While it's true that our nuclear watchdogs, nuclear defense program, etc. are constant deterrents to a significant threat, you have to realize that NK poses a threat to all other nations - and many of these nations don't have the infrastructure, technology, or alliances to defend against nuclear warfare. |

"How do I know? My teacher who have lived in North Korea for more than 6 years told me." take note that the answer wasn't "i took initiative to read up on the subject in order to understand current events on a global level" |

| NK already has missiles aimed at our military bases. I doubt they can successfully accomplish that. |

NK missles fail to launch and blow up the landing pad.
NK does not have Nuclear technology
NK's missles would be shot down with our own patriot missle batteries.
NK only poses a threat to SK. |

South Korea vs North Korea
South = Better military, better technology, better economy, more resources
North = Terrible military, stolen/bought technology, more imports than exports, crap
SK doesn't even need US aid to win |

| China would mostly likely back NK up. The reason is China is trying to become the world's super power. In order to do that they need to get US out the way. If US go through with this war they will fall deeper in debt making China richer by comparison. |

It is arguable whether North Korea is or is not a nuclear power, and there has been a lot of arguing over this. But it is a fact that they have atomic weapons, which could be devastating for any country that is targeted. Next, NK's missiles may be shot down by our defense, but what about countries that NK has threatened that aren't developed in nuclear defense infrastructure?
And also, saying that NK only poses a threat to SK is completely ignorant, and is negated by the fact that they have said multiple times that they want to eradicate the Western world. While these threats may seem like a "bluff", NK's infrastructure and technology is quickly growing to meet new demands in defense.
NK is currently training cyber warriors, and a cyber attack could lead to a cyber "Pearl Harbor". These cyber attacks are, in fact, a grave threat to American lives because cyber attackers can access things like grid lines to subways, banks, and all of the technology around us. So we have to realize that there are more ways in which NK poses a threat than just missiles. |

If the U.S. goes into debt, then the American economy wouldn't be as good in the free market, which is what China's economy relies on. So I don't see how going through with a war resulting in debt is going to make China any richer. Moreover, China is no where near being a world super power. While it may be seemingly inevitable eventually, and their economy is doing well, the average Chinese person lives on the equivalent to about $100 USD per month. They are still a developing country, and will be for awhile. |

you act like north korea has power
it doesn't
you think america has a bad economy? look at north korea
china has been cyber attacking us for years now, what makes you think that nk can top china
nk does not have the capability to harm the west in any way
nk is right next to sk, therefore poses the only threat to sk. |
