I was just thinking and though of some things for these two topics. I was thinking about it, and if you think enough the unfair forts problem is easily noticeable as a cause of player actions OTHER than the map creator. If a clan was just too inactive to defend well, they would decrease the player size, but the thing I see as a major cause of overpowered forts is server flooding. Such as the GSC war, Fang was made a bit more unfair (barely though, by the way I raided the other day and to all of you people who complained about the mines, please like go work on obbies or something, I feel sorry for you.) This was a result of what is called an overcrowded fort, a fort that doesn't have enough defenders to defend all servers. You may be asking right now, but then wouldn't he bring down the server size based on your logic? No, the problem here was this: the GSC needed 30 wins to win, so if you have MORE servers that are going to lose anyway, then you're only helping them. Overcrowding and flooding servers has also brought a bigger evolution to raiding, it's this raiding style where you do ANYTHING to win, so you take over small and weak servers, rather than challenge your clan to fight big servers. Since I noticed this to begin, the qualities of members in superclans has declined, so what I did was a little experiment. I created a clan named "Nextra Sovereignty", from there I raided a large Fang server with my ex-JC friends, who joined NS, we took over the fort and won, we gained 3 quality members, I recorded their KDRs, which weren't that good. So what I did was I decided I will continue me experiment to see if raiding more challenging servers would IMPROVE member quality while GAINING member quality. So I brought my members to another Fang server, and another, and another. We kept raiding on, and guess what? Their quality increased rapidly, they began to understand the fort better. From that point we continue to raid, and then we started to win faster as well, I also noticed we were winning with less flaws, and much easier. During this time period I noticed NONE of my members quit, and stayed with me until the end, and from this point on I will not do what superclans do, desperate or not.
tl;dr? Get out. |

| Or you could stop whining about 'unfair bases' and just not raid them and/or raid them until you do actually win. |

'Overcrowding and flooding servers' due to groups 'lacking activity' I'm pretty sure most groups use the 'minimum members present for legitimate raid' rule set. Meaning sure, you can flood servers all you want - only a few of them are going to have enough of each opposing side to be valid.
There, read a bit of your horribly typed out one-block-mess post. |

@Lol That's the point I saw, the fact that those are needed is honestly sad, please read the entire post so you can understand what I'm trying to say. I'm saying that if groups would challenge themselves they would improve rather than doing anything to win, and that is an example. The point I'm trying to make is that when people raid nowadays they don't improve anymore, as it is mostly sitting around and waiting for the terminal to finish. If people would challenge themselves, those wouldn't really even be needed, as if you challenge yourself you'd need a reasonable amount of defenders. |

@Imperatos
In that case, what's the problem with unofficial raids to 'practice'. A lot of groups do that too. If you repost the original post but paragraph it, I'll read it. As it stands now I can barely force my brain to register most of what is in it for two reasons; 1) It's all run-on sentences and in one huge solid block. 2) I'm extremely tired. |
