Hockey hits are harder then rugby hits true fact you do realize your traveling way faster in hockey then rugby? its like 23-24 mph to 16ish |

| I'd say both are kind of equal, if not maybe rugby gets a little edge from no pads. |

each sport has it's own advantages
hockey:
-pucks flying at 60 mph -very hard hits
rugby:
-no pads -hard hits with no pads |

Death those are rare instances, but if you want to talk about that in Rugby in scrums or rucks you can get your private or face torn open by cleats.

They're different kinds of toughness.
Hockey has higher impact hits, but Rugby requires more endurance, which wears down on you more.
Personally, I could play Rugby, I couldn't play Hockey. |
