If you mean in terms of fanbases, then in a way it's yes and no.
Bronies might be well found on the internet, but in real life, they are near nonexistent (excluding brony gatherings because they are meant for internet in real life) in real life, due to the small fanbase spreading from America to England. When you have 80,000 people on a fanbase, and it's spread throughout two large countries, you're not going to have many people in real life.
On the other hand, bronies make a huge impact on today's subcoulture, causing a whole flip on the term masculinity and changing the world's fanbases. |
