I remember posting about this before, but this time each part of this idea will be explained.
First of all, I know Roblox are working on having this website in German, though many Roblox users are Spanish and want the same feature to understand the site and game better.
First of all, here's a list of the needed features for Roblox in Spanish:
·Translated website (with a re-directing link similar to "roblox.de", called "roblox.es" or any South American domain). This task is basically the same as the German one.
· Special characters in-game (Allowing the characters á, é, í, ó, ú and ñ into the game chat so they don't get removed from the sentence, for example, if I write "mañana" in the game chat, it will appear as "maana". This feature doesn't just apply for Spanish, though. It is necessary for most languages to be able to write correctly).
This is all I see as necessary for Spanish users on Roblox.
¡Gracias! |

Thanks. I hope any Roblox staff reading this thinks the same.
It may seem like a difficult task, and I understand it. I was sent a reply from info@roblox.com saying they would do it some day. I am posting this thread to remind them, first of all, that it's been over 5 months (don't take that as a complaint!), and this thread was also made for any Roblox user's opinion. |

| Batista, please give reasons to why you don't support it. I'm curious to know! :) |

| Thanks for the support guys! Let's hope someone who can transmit it to a Roblox staff member reads it (might not, but it's worth the try)! :) |

| No Support, many spanish users do not know english and by having an english website maybe they would learn some english, giving them a website in spanish they will remain the same, people with no english knowledge. |

| We do have English classes in Spain you know... Just like any other website. Plus, Spanish users are constantly getting confused from what they have to click on for, let's say, activating a place or uploading a decal. |

| Ah, and RoyMer, you could apply that to the current German translation they're doing. |

Even though I like the idea (I'm spanish myself and my family doesn't know english Example: My cousin mutrix) I think both translations would be a waste of time, even the webpage is translated the games aren't, and that's what Roblox is all about, building and playing with your friends. Take for example a game I like a lot: "Apocalypse Rising" It is completely in english (weapons, tools, tutorial and even the chat) so if the meaning of translation is to get a better understanding of the game for hispanic users it wouldn't work for much once inside the games and the chat. This applies for any translation, not just the spanish one. Unless the Roblox Staff wants to make an alternate webpage with alternate servers for spanish people to go on and even *chat* with others who speak spanish, they would have to be on an alternate server so they will understand. If they have no need to go on another server because they understand english then the translation meaning is obsolete.
**TL;DR:** Waste of time, translation not possible, no support. |
