They need a MH on the PS3 that isn't a Japanese exclusive. I don't understand why they don't translate it, they're too stubborn to add trophies and change the way multiplayer works

| I know, but I don't think its worth getting on my 3DS until I have a Wii U. Because it doesn't have online, and with Wii U I could use 3DS as a controller >:D |

Well, MH is a very Japanese game. American's like mindless shooters and linear games.
The MH series is a very difficult game that requires a lot of thought and practice, and is not linear at all.
It's an extremely popular game in Japan, but it's not very popular in America.

Get the Wii U Pro Controller. That is the best controller for playing Monster Hunter. |

Maybe it would become popular if they just put it on the right system

It's on the right systems. It was originally on the Wii, and the Wii is known for getting some of the best Japanese titles but only being credited for it in Japan.
Japanese people love games like Xenoblade Chronicles and Monster Hunter Tri.
It's Americans who are the console-frags and wouldn't give games a chance simply for being on a non-popular console.
This series is extremely popular in Japan. |

I mean put it on the right system for westerners, the Wii is good for Japan, but in the U.S. it's dead

I mostly agree with you, I think it should be on both Wii U and PS3. But the Wii died 2 years ago. |

It's only dead because the console-frags make it dead. Japan released so many great games for the Wii in the US, but Americans just weren't giving them a chance.
So they stopped for awhile, and Operation Rainfall decided to change this and get Japan to bring the best 3 Wii games they have over here:
Xenoblade Chronicles The Last Story Pandora's Tower
And they did it. They're all in the US and are all some of the best games this gen.
But Americans STILL won't give them a chance. It's not that the Wii's bad, it's that people won't give it a chance.
Plenty of Japan's best games are like this. They don't release so many games to NA because Americans are stupid when it comes to gaming. |

I'd say Americans are open to gaming, it's just that the Japanese if they try something it will totally fail, so they don't bother. It might not be the next big thing over here but it wont fail completely

Americans are no where near open to gaming. The only reason stuff like Xenoblade and Monster Hunter don't completely fail is because they're such great games that all of those rare Americans who actually are open to gaming try them.
Japan has to rely on the minority gamers in the US. Not the majority gamers. |

| I'm a rare american gamer lol. Seriously, its hard actually getting other people to play non FPS games. Everyone I knew just cares about guns, and killing. But one day FPS will die, and hopefully RPG or something like that will take over. |

@LaCoffeeMan
My favorite genres are RPGs and Action/Adventure games.
Games like Skyward Sword, and Pandora's Tower are actually not RPGs but Action/Adventure games.
Even Monster Hunter Tri is more of an action/adventure game. Because there's no leveling up or anything. You get better by collecting enough resources and money to upgrade your weapons and armor, and also get better simply by getting mentally better at playing the game.
