ROBLOX is completely unplayable due to the mouse not working correctly. The cursor skips around and moves the camera randomly. If you try to move the mouse, it does so uncontrollably fast. My host OS is Debian Wheezy, so I have to run ROBLOX in a VM. This didn't happen when I had Windows as the host OS.
Any ideas on what to do to fix the mouse issues? |

ROBLOX also shuts down after around 5 minutes of being in an online game while on this VM.

The obvious question is why are you using a VM?

ROBLOX doesn't run natively on Debian and Wine is problematic.

Have you tried other games? The problem is more likely caused by the VM than by roblox.

Other games run fine. Why does the VM cause ROBLOX to act crazy with the mouse?

Cuz. Go into ROBLOX settings in Studio and set hardware mouse to true. Then it shouldn't glitch.

I'm sure you can just use Wine, can't you? Just go into studio and change the render setting to OpenGL.

Roblox does the same thing on touchscreens. The technology is too modern for Roblox.

Illegal VM for Mac have very bad performance. You'd be much better off just buying a Mac.
Also, Roblox runs VERY WELL on windows 8. I haven't yet have it crash on me. I obtained a copy from my friend who is a university student for only $20. |

It's definitely a virtual machine issue. On my other machine, running Xubuntu 13.04 Beta as a host OS and TinyXP as a guest OS, the same thing happens, except on this particular VM graphics artifacts occur until the VM crashes.

Funny thing is, I came here to see if ROBLOX worked on a VM or not, because I'm downloading one.

It doesn't because VMP (x86 anti-exploit VM) doesn't let you which is bogus.

@pizza iirc VPM has settings where the developer can enable/disable VM detection. Has Roblox enabled it recently? Because I was running Roblox on a VM a few months ago and it worked fine.
