I open it, instead of opening the Studio it just gives me a black box and another box saying: C:\ProgramData/Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Roblox\ROBLOX Studio 2013.Ink The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction. CS:1226 IP:0238 OP:63 73 73 22 20
I have a 4-5 year old Compaq/HP laptop. It has integrated graphics, and I only encountered this problem recently. I used info@roblox.com and they said to download it from this link. setup.roblox.com/RobloxStudioLauncher.exe However, this only gives me the old roblox studio now, and I used to have to reuse the link every week or so because studio would keep breaking. |

| Does it allow you to start up studios to the roblox.com page? If so, try going to tools > settings > reset all settings. |

@validar I'm not sure I understand the question. I have deleted everything in the Local\Roblox folder, and my settings were reset when I reinstalled after that. |

| Uninstalling isn't deleting the files. You need to use the Control Panel to uninstall Roblox. |

| And yes, I did the control panel way, but uninstalling IS deleting files lol. What do you think it is? Moving them? |

| No, I know that there is much more than files in a single location to uninstalling. Typically, the uninstall process leaves settings files hidden in ProgramData or AppData and the registry. Uninstalling will remove things from the Start Menu, places in the registry to tell the start menu what to display, keys to tell the Control Panel where the msi file is that manages the uninstall process and any temporary files associated with the program. |

| Yes, but you said uninstalling isn't "deleting files", yet it really is deleting files, just not necessarily all in one place. Anyway we're getting off topic. I've tried every method recommended, and now I'm trying to get help from a expert who knows wtf is wrong with my computer. |
