Most people seem to complain about the initial price of a gaming computer. Why?
When the PS3 first came out, it was £350 for a mid-range fatty.
People are under the misconception that Alienware is a suitable company to base gaming PC prices on.
Newsflash: Ferrari isn't the only car manufacturer as Alienware is not the only gaming PC manufacturer.
To build a modern, budget gaming PC yourself can cost as little as £250, if you want to build it yourself. If you don't, Zoostorm do fantastic budget builds for very little money. |

I just prefer consoles for their efficiency. I never believed that PC gaming rigs were outrageously priced, but updating hardware can be a hassle. |

"I just prefer consoles for their efficiency."
Efficiency is how much energy is used for productive purpose. Consoles are not more efficient because of their old hardware.

You don't need to update your hardware. You DO need to update your software, but you do on the PS3 and Xbox and Wii, too? |
