Greetings everyone who wears the Vaktovian uniform and those who aspire to become a Vaktovian. This forum will go with a mini-series. In the mini-series, it will explain in depth character traits that will be needed to be in Vaktovia, or to remain being a Vaktovian. These traits are a must! If you lack or have a poor performance in any of these topics your chances of becoming a Vaktovian is slim.

Definition of Respect:
Esteem for or a sense of the worth or excellence of a person, a personal quality or ability, or something considered as a manifestation of a personal quality or ability.
Peoples actions and choice of words can effect your opinion on them and who they represent. Respect is usually earned when you first meet somone, it can be gained after your first introduction though. Most people tend to only give respect on others actions for they cannot fully trust into their words.
Respect can also be shown in a third person point of view. Not only can it effect the way people think of you personally but those who you communicate with. For example, if you disgrace the name of Vaktovia, it will only ensure to the people you spoke with that Vaktovia is disrespectful. You do not only represent yourself but those who do the same activities as you, and who you have contact with.

[-] Chapter Two: How to gain Respect [-]
Gaining respect is simple yet complicated. There are many variables that can set off your encounter with others. You can gain respect from your enemies without being passive with them. In other words you can fight them, yet enjoy each others company. What a prime example is when you have a choice between swords and guns, and your enemy presents a sword, you should respect that and draw yours aswell. Now, when it comes to the enemy, you do not always need to respect everyone you come in contact with. I will garuntee to you though, if you give respect to an opponent they will return it.
Respect does not always have to be shown face to face with the other person. It can be shown in other ways indirectly. Instead of complaining on someone, you can jusy simply be silent. Nothing is worse than sticking yourself in a situation that you have limited information in. Always know exactly what you are going to do before you do it.
Giving a repect to a higher rank compared to a lower rank is much harder. It is in the human nature to become nervous when speaking with a superior. For if you stumble, that higher rank will always remember it. You feel as if you are trash to them before you even begin conversing. When speaking to a lower rank than you it is much more comfortable. For if you mess up, you can easily change the subject because the other person will feel lower than you and will not want to start anything to make you angry.
[TIP]: Never be afraid to speak to a higher rank than you. It is best to make an impression face to face to gain respect. It puts you and the other on their feet so they must respond quickly. Otherwise any other means of communicating can allow them to have ample time to answer back.

[-] Chapter Three: Closure [-]
Respect is shown very heavily in groups. It divides people into social classes. Respect is something that is broken and made several times in a lifetime. In groups many argue, that is inevitable. If you ever lose respect from someone, quickly regain it. If I ever make myself look like a fool I will speak to the person about my faults and then I will go out and prove to them I meant what I said. Respect is what gives you fame. If you have great respect from everyone you will be a likeable person to come in contact with. If you have negative respect, or bad respect, from everyone, then your name will be spoken of in a terriable way.
When I was a young Vaktovian, about a private, I would forcefully order those under me. I would make sure the job was completed no matter who or what thought of me. I now realize that I must please everyone while completing the job and not only those who assigned me the job. Giving orders in a kind way will make others feel like they have more freedom from being scornfully fussed at.

Respect to all, it's very important. I even respect my enemies as long they respect me.

Hi imperior, before I continue, I want you to know I am Magmorticus, just in case you didn't know.
If I may ask, why did you come to the academy, an Arcadian training area, in Vaktovian uniform?
Please, do explain yourself.
