I love it.
It has an awesome mythology behind it, and the characters are likable. I don't understand the hate, the film receives: people calling the characters weak, for crying, and their decisions idiotic. How the hell, would anyone think rationally whilst trapped in a forest being hunted down by supernatural forces?
It's a brilliant film.
I hated the sequel though. |

| Hmm, it was kind of boring, but it made the found footage style popular. |

Hes just mad that there wasn't some witch cursing and yelling and burning people alive.
I like the ambitious nature. It leaves it open for anyone to choose what happened. Did they get lost? Go back in time? Did one of them purposely get them lost? Was there a witch in the first place? |

There's also the theories that Michael, and Joshua hid their intentions of killing Heather, and the events of the film are them playing tricks on her to demolish her psyche, and the theory that it was a group of hillbillies messing, with them.
I like movies that require you to think.
It makes me not want a third film. |

Id like a film with an opening similar to the original 'Chainsaw' saying "this is a reenactment of a series of events that supposedly happened" etc.
Then have a regularly shot film. Maybe one showing the start of the "Blair Witch"? I just think how much id like to see that one woman's description.
Some woman with the head of a horse, that'd be some creepy damn imagery. |

| No, I just think it's boring. There's suspense for something scary to come but it never does. I don't think it's bad movie, just boring. |
