you know those people with the ideas to make bases with warfare completely and solely oriented like tower defense games, where you produce structures, have resources, etc. i don't know why everyone thinks that would be fun that would take the combat aspect out of fighting on here that makes war fun somebody who has had literally no experience fighting as part of a group could become an indestructible warlord should said person obtain enough resources no direct combat what-so-ever also nullifies trainings and stuff like that so basically "changing" clan warfare that way would be stupid the only way to truly revolutionize it is not to change the overall mechanics, but just alter the way that they work |

| I've seen people posting attempts at trying to do this, but not of the one you used as an example. |

read some of the "larger" threads it's always some random guy stressing how much he hates clan warfare as it is and he said that a strategic approach to warfare would make it funner if you ask me that's his escape for sucking at guns or swords or whatever |

Hello Leeman.
Yeah, pretty much. "it's always some random guy stressing how much he hates clan warfare". |

Way to actually revolutionize clan warfare to the extent that It's challenging and fun:
Revert to an 08 format of fort. Unfair but possible if enemy can work to an advantage through strategy and teamwork. |

Strategic elements =/= RTS games. Strategic elements =/= building stuff. Strategic elements =/= having no real members fighting.
Strategic elements = making a little more order out of a generally very messy situation. |

i thought of a pretty cool idea, mainly to keep the combat fun but also completely change the way it works is to make a really huge map, about on the scale of Apocalypse Rising's map and there are no actual set structures for one faction or another, but they may roll through towns and set up a "fort" with the equipment they have or just make it a temporary hub the goal is to exterminate the enemy there would be a hunger and thirst system, so if you really wanted to, you could lay siege to a town and starve out the inhabitants it wouldn't lag too much either imo |
