And that beeping we often hear in our heads is actually the sound of your hear monitor in a hospital, and when we hear somebody calling our name, but nobody's there, it could be our relatives or friends waking us from death.

Its little questions like these that make me question reality, and keep an open mind -- open minds are good -- who knows the truth, really?
It's out there, somewhere.
And, yeah Star Wars is coo. |

| The problem with questions like this is that they are literally unanswerable. Proving things depends on axioms - things we assume are true. It's simply one of the axioms of our existence that we are all living beings. If you take away that, you have literally nothing to build off of. |

No.
We aren't dead.
If death--rest--feels like this? How could life possibly...
It's giving me chills.
The bad kind. |

Let's forget the fact that there are atheists, christians, pagans, whatever.
Let's say that there is an afterlife, an eternity of torture, for us all.
What if this is it. |

| It's a bit too enjoyable for torture, I feel. Then again, we could be in eternal torment and just be comically missing the point. My personal feeling on this is that if I can't remember it, it has no importance to me. If there is a life before, oh well. There's probably a life after this one, and then one after that... And if the world is different every time, are we still really the same person? I doubt it. |

| @Ultracrash, what if humanity was mass-killed, and we are them, living in the memories of them. |

| It's the same deal. No way of proving or disproving it. Does it really affect our life? Tomorrow's going to be the same day no matter what this universe truly is, and history isn't changing either. |

I agree completely, with you Nil. The past is the past. Now is what counts, but it is still fun to contemplate on the supernatural, and such.
"We are all reincarnations of the first humans. Many of us are actually the same people. The cycle will continue until the end of the world."
You're an atheist right?
"what if humanity was mass-killed, and we are them, living in the memories of them."
I feel an inception joke coming on-- MUST RESIST. |

That's actually an interesting point.
And depending on how you handled things in your previous life is how bad it is for you. Like say in your previous life you were home less and joyful. In this afterlife you have little torture or pain and you end up being rich, ect |
