This idea is strategy in warfare. This is designed for futuristic groups. Due to the fact that we have "The Conquerors" and "Territory Conquest" on the games page, this seems like something that could easily be achievable.
Strategy in warfare. This is a type of battle where no WOs/KOs are necessary, where only two people are needed to fight entire battles.
Let me explain this better: Imagine, you're in a room. A space room, because this is designed for futuristic groups. Suddenly, holographs pop up of star ships, and a GUI pops up that displays each of your ships (Marked blue) and their powers, stats, etc. And it can also show the enemies (Marked red) ships powers, stats, etc.
This strategy game is not turn based whatsoever and they each move based on their speed. Some of them are suicide ships, some are regular battle cruisers, some shoot missiles, some are really weak and cheap, etc.
You can move them on the X, Y, or Z axis. 3D entirely. You basically position your "starting" ship wherever you want, say, on a randomly generated moon or planet. From there, you gather resources (From your planet or by colonizing other planets) and you then use their resource to create ships (To keep things simple, the materials are Metal and Power.). You need X Metal and Y Power to create a small frigate ship, X Metal and Y Power to create a massive battleship, etc.
While this is all going on, somewhere else on the game this is actually happening. As you move ships around, they move in game. Soldiers are in them, people die, etc. So, to get resources, you send out Resource Drones, manned by one soldier. They go and collect resources and help build other ships.
*Note: Soldiers can disobey you. When you give out an order, a little GUI pops up to everyone on that ship/building telling them to do so and so. They may do otherwise, they may do what you say. I'd suggest using loyal soldiers for these.*
Then, once you have a sizable fleet (To keep things from involving hundreds of soldiers at a time, let's say each ship is manned by one soldier. And if the number of ships exceeds the number of soldiers, then all new ships are then controlled by the game) you can then go and attack by ordering your ships into firing range and then, firing.
Aim is done by the one soldier in the ship. They move the ship, and press X to fire the left guns, and C to fire the right guns. Then can use Q for forward guns and Z for backwards guns, granting the ship has any.
When a soldier dies, they simply respawn. Very simple.
Anyway, the object is to destroy the enemies "command center". This could be tricky, because you can always set up defenses and whatnot around it to destroy enemy ships. All defenses are run by the computer, to avoid soldiers just sitting there doing nothing whatsoever. Plus, the planets rotate and revolve around other planets or Suns. You can build a solar panel right next to the sun and basically get infinite power, but you cannot protect it whatsoever as you haven't the metal to build a defense ship/turret durable enough. If you do destroy the command center you win. First, however, you must "occupy" all enemy planets.
On all ships, there is a small canister you can shoot that will destroy the entire ship. So, a tiny resource drone can destroy the canister of your main flag ship and blow it to pieces. The bigger your ship, the smaller the canister.
Boarding. If a ship gets close enough, it can board the other. What happens is, 20 robots are created for both sides that fight, while the players are fighting the robots and each other. The robots quality depends on the size of the ship (The bigger the ship, the higher quality). Whichever side wins, well, gets control of both ships.
While a ship is getting boarded/is boarding, it cannot move or fire. Other ships may fire on either one, and destroy it. If one ship is destroyed, the other takes significant damage. A useful tactic could be to have a small ship board a big ship, then destroy the canister of the small ship, thus helping damage the big ship. And yes, ships can destroy each other.
There is another variation of this, but on land. You move along the X and Z axis (Terrain is always flat) to take the fort from somebody. You create X number of infantry, X number of air support, X number of tanks, etc., just as in the above. This one acts like regular raids, except it is a lot more fair (Tanks can and will destroy walls, air support can transport units, etc.). In this one, you must create oil wells and power stations for the resources required. If the fort gets taken, defenders lose. If all raiders die before more can appear, raiders lose. That simple. Of course, yet ANOTHER variation could be on water, but that would simply be the same thing as Space battles except you move along X and Z axis. Oil rigs would be required.
This, I believe, could revolutionize warfare as we know it. If I had a team of excellent scripters to make the "base" of this (As in, everything I described) then other clans could have different systems by scripting their own special stuff into it (Fighters, asteroids, etc.) |

This doesn't apply to all clans though. Clans like Frost Clan and TRA wouldn't be appart of it. To my understanding neither of these clans are futuristic. |
