He averaged 10 PPG, shooting 45% from the field, and 33% from behind the arc last year. And he was named to the NBA Rookie 2nd team. |

(Not to mention all of this came off the bench, due to the emergence of Chase Budinger)
Parsons is exactly like Budinger actually. Progressively became a great player after his rookie campaign. Which is why the Rockets felt it was okay to trade him. |

What's your point.
He was one of the best rookies in the league last year. His stats improved like they should with his sophomore season. He didn't "come out of nowhere" |
