I very much agree.
Especially about the size, technology, and uniform part.
People tend to focus more towards presentation rather than the genuine quality of the clan. People don't like being cast down.
You're right. Things were alot more fun. |

This is a useless thread. One of the 90% of useless threads in C&G. This is spam. Stop complaining because there's nothing we can do about it. |

I was mostly in RFA during those times. Then I began my career in FEAR.
Honestly, Everything was much better. People are too consumed by wanting fame within a pixel world rather than anything else. |

'Spam' >is an on topic thread
'nothing we can do' >we actually can if we all focus on the project. |

Practice,
That would be very hard to do.
It is nearly impossible to revive the old environment without changing how other clans operate as well.
And ROBLOX won't help. They're working on new things to PROGRESS clans such as this new raid system. Things have gotten too complex. |

| I agree, it was a lot more fun. We didn't have to be serious all of the time and we didn't need anything to be serious, like there was freedom everywhere and we ran at our own speed. |

I suppose.
If a group of people with a large influence gather together and try and make these changes, maybe. Then, people will follow and work to maintain it.
However, clans such as WIJ also play a major part, specifically in the presentation portion. They produce new things that encourage other clans to try and become better. |

Hmm...
Once your basic needs are met, people strive for recognition. Don't bring in the pixel, virtual, just a game crap. We're all real people, this is a real community, and just because you use a computer to communicate with others on this community or access this community, it doesn't mean that the relationships, recognition, and skills gained are meaningless to any extent.
Most of us are wired, with just a few exceptions, to seek recognition for their abilities after they are fed, feel safe, and are accepted in society. (Beyond that, you attempt to reach your fullest potential, and then transcend). Most never reach their fullest potential...
Anyway, our brains are the same in reality as they are online, and perhaps more real or open online to be honest. Meaning, we might be more likely to meet our needs of recognition and credit online than offline. But that's not my point. My point is that, virtual or physical, there's no difference.
There's nothing wrong with wanted to be famous on ROBLOX. It's a perfectly healthy and typical behavior. Probably healthier than the alternative. I'd be worried about those who don't care for recognition. Something else is more important to them, and typically those are essential things that have a direct impact on our physical and emotional health.

I suppose, 8SunTzu8.
Though, it just isn't the same nor is it as fun as before. Yes, there is nothing wrong with it however it is NOT healthier than the altnerative. The alternative doesn't mean you don't care for being known, it may even mean you would like to be apart of something that's known. Not you yourself being it. |

This is a new clan era. You can all remain nostalgic about the past, and continue saying that it was better, in any way... But that doesn't change anything, it only reinforces those memories and creates a cycle of nostalgia.
Instead of saying the old days were better, attempt to bring them back. However, the old days were flawed, and in some major ways. Our current ways are also flawed, but flaws can be fixed.
People have tried to fix them, but all they do is talk, talk, and talk. Talk doesn't do anything, action results in accomplishment. I am guilty of this myself. I did think of a new, and out of the box, idea for clan warfare that would replace the FB system with what seems to be a much more logical idea. But I am incapable of building the system myself, which is largely a simple system.
Clans have held large meetings to discuss a way to change the FB system, but nothing was done as a followup.
Yeah, things aren't great right now. But stop saying it and do something if you have a problem with it.

I suppose.
Though, revolutions do begin with a single though or idea. I suppose this "talk" is our way of expanding it. You are right in the sense that change will not come we act. I do very much agree.
It will take cooperation to do so. We can combine the two eras to make anew, review the past and fix those "flaws" present today.
