In 2008 when The Clone Wars came out, everyone hated it and didn't want to give it a chance.
Five years later, it gets cancelled, with a fitting ending no less, and everyone gets mad?
Alright first if you want closure watch Episode 3.
Second, why don't we give Disney's new show a chance? Because in 5 years when it gets cancelled I feel you're all gonna cry and yell at Disney about how they cancelled their last good show and I don't understand why you people do that. |

From the Wookiepedia page:
"Cartoon Network screened an episode for critics as part of the 2008 TCA tour. The episode received generally positive reactions. The series' debuted on October 3, 2008 with the episode "Ambush", which brought in 3.96 million viewers, and was the channel's most watched series premiere. [...] The first season episode "Lair of Grievous" won a Golden Reel Award for best sound editing in television animation. In 2008 IGN listed The Clone Wars as the 89th (out of 100) greatest animated series of all time."
Doesn't sound like "everyone" hated it. |

Yeah.
And I bet no one hated the prequels either just because they made a ton of money and awards. |

I didn't hate the show when it came out.
I don't hate the show now.
It's an alright show.
That's about it.
And, I also like the prequels; they're not perfect, but honestly I think they did a great job, with providing an lead-up to the original trilogy. |

Just look at all the nominations Phantom Menace got!
"The film received seven Golden Raspberry Award, or Razzie, nominations. These included Worst Picture, Worst Director, Worst Screenplay, Worst Supporting Actor (Jake Lloyd as Anakin), Worst Supporting Actress (Sofia Coppola as Saché), Worst Screen Couple (Jake Lloyd and Natalie Portman), and won the Worst Supporting Actor category with Jar Jar Binks actor Ahmed Best."
What about Attack of the Clones?
"The film also received seven nominations from the Golden Raspberry Awards for Worst Picture, Worst Director (George Lucas), Worst Screenplay (George Lucas), Worst Supporting Actor (Hayden Christensen), Worst Supporting Actress (Natalie Portman), Worst Screen Couple (Hayden Christensen and Natalie Portman) and Worst Remake or Sequel. It took home two awards for Worst Screenplay (George Lucas) and Worst Supporting Actor (Hayden Christensen)."
As for Attack of the Clones:
"The film did, however, receive the fewest Golden Raspberry Awards nominations: only one, for Christensen as Worst Supporting Actor,[68] which he won [...] It is the only Star Wars prequel not to receive a Razzie nomination for "Worst Picture"." |

Nevertheless, a lot of people hated the show or loathed its premiere. I remember people saying the designs looked like wood. That it's too happy. That the music sucks.
Just stuff like that. And now they're saying stuff like that about Disney's new Star Wars show when we know nothing about it. Even though when it comes out it'll undoubtedly be breaking records and making awards.
And when its cancelled I guarantee everyone will whine and ask for more. |

| Becuase the majority of these people are little bratty kids who always want more. I liked this show from the beginning and have seen every episode, I was disappionted to hear the show ending though. |

I don't like "The Clone Wars," both the movie and TV series.
I kinda got excited when I heard it was cancelled. |
