Xbox 720 specs haven't even been released yet.
Also sony sucks imo
The only good thing about the PS3 that the users can make is that the membership is free

> Better looking system, I like the xbox 360 look better
> Red ring of death, I got my Xbox 360 in 2008 and never had red ring of death, those were the first series of xbox's made that had that problem
> Games scratch, it's not like I'm throwing my disc around the room but I guess you have a point there.
But the PS3 Network is total crap and to me the controller is total crap for a shooter. |

1. The PlayStation Network is free. Sure, sometimes the PSN goes down or is taken down by haxers, a problem Microsoft has done a better job avoiding, but Xbox Live Gold will cost you $50 a year. That’s $50 more than you’ll pay to play online games on the PSN.
2. The PS3 has a Blu-ray drive. The Xbox 360 only has a 7GB disc space because it uses DVD as it's disc format. The PS3 uses blu-ray which gives it 25GB disc space. Because of this much higher disc space of Blu-Ray it can have much more hardware intensive games that the Xbox 360 sometimes has to have on multiple discs.
3. The PlayStation 3 controller is rechargeable.
4. Bluetooth compatible
5. Out of the box you are able to get onto the internet, play games online and browse the web FOR FREE on the PS3. With Xbox, you have to pay for a wi-fi adapter just to get online. Seriously Microsoft, a wifi adapter? What is this 2001?
"The two CPU chips run at the same GHz speed, but the PS3's seven individual cores beat out the Xbox's three dual-threaded cores. And in terms of performance measured in gigaflops, the PS3 tops out at nearly three times that of the Xbox." - IGN
The PS3 controller supports SIX-AXIS technology which means it is motion-sensitive. Most PS3 games on the market support this function (Uncharted 2, Grand Theft Auto: IV, SOCOM, to name a few.) The Xbox 360 controller doesn't support any motion-sensitive features.
Now on to system failures and breakages... ha-ha. Everyone must know about RRoD (Red Ring of Death) which has been plaguing Xbox 360's for years. I bet EVERY Xbox 360 owner out there has experienced a breakage AT LEAST once. I know that every friend of mine who owns an Xbox 360 has.
tl;dr The PS3 comes with built in Wi-Fi. The Xbox 360 doesn't, owners must pay $100 for an external one.
The PS3 has 75 foot wireless range. Xbox 360 only has a measly 30 foot.
The PS3 can connect to 7 wireless controllers. Xbox 360 can only connect to 4 wireless controllers.
The PS3 has 6 USB ports (for peripherals and what not), The Xbox 360 only has 2.
The PS3 has all memory card imports. Xbox 360 has nothing.
The PS3 has a free online network (PSN), you must pay an annual fee of $60 for Xbox LIVE.
The PS3 comes with a Blu-ray player which can play movies in internal higher definition. Xbox 360 owners must buy an external HD DVD player for $200.
The PS3 has 1080p HD output. The Xbox 360 only has 720p.
The PS3 has a 750GB hard drive; the Xbox 360 only has a 120GB hard drive.
The PS3 clearly has the better features/hardware. |

@Black
Considering the PS3 was released like a year later than the Xbox 360
DUH
Also why are you comparing the first XBOX 360's to the PS3? |

| Comparing the "first" xbox360 to the "first" PS3 is fair enough. |
