| The Wii U simply can't support Lua, or does it have the controll capacity for ROBLOX. |

| Why don't you give a description? We could actually have no clue what you mean? Only certain games? All games? Compatible with internet? How about Studio? What about Lua? This is why we have a place for descriptions. |

@Games
If the scripting could be made compatible with the wii u, then yes
@Internet
Nintendo Network
@Studio
I am not really sure at this moment.
@Lua
Read Games. I am pretty sure they could make some games scripting compatible with the wii u.

| No. There is no way to break down the modified version of Lua that Roblox uses into a compatible form a Java for the Wii U. Or any console, for that matter. |

What has Wii U done for our society? Why not ps4, or XBOX 720?
The fact that you insinuate these ideas to be miraculously accomplished because other devices have succeeded in this development amuses me. What if I needed to press the "r" key to reload? What if I needed to press the Shift key to run?
ROBLOX is universal. Whomever the creator of the game, the Team cannot calibrate and implant every single command onto a controller. What about updates? How are the console players gonna receive those.
Even if they could do all this, what is the point? Because a new product is introduced, doesn't make it famous no matter what it's capable of benefiting for the customer. |

Yoshdude is right. There's a reason why they haven't moved over to consoles yet.
That, and the bad remarks they may receive from going through with the ideas. |

You can't put a huge website on a console, especially a Wii U. Now, Xbox One POSSIBLY (NOT SAYING IT WILL) could support ROBLOX.
I'm grammartastic |

xbox one is a cable box with internet connectivity, games and social media ps3 is average
wii u will (probably) win this generation, with the GamePad gimmick and the lower price, and for those saying SEGA IS MAKING A NEW CONSOLE!!!! they already planned to make games on the Wii U, might as well skip another generation eh? |

It would be difficult for the developers to wrap their heads around a PowerPC console, after they have been working with PC's for so long. But once they manage to get it to work, I would actually see no problem making it happen.
If you compile Lua right or convert Lua to another language as you are compiling it, you can get the Wii U to run Lua. They have managed to get Roblox on Macs, so the Wii U shouldn't be too far off.
Just make sure that the Wii U gets its own version of Roblox (with Lua) with it's own set of servers for online play. I propose this because I highly doubt that the Wii U has an "R" key, or even a keyboard. It also provides a stable hardware foundation for people to base their games off of.
My fifteen cents. |
