We all play video games for different reasons. Some play just for fun, some play for the experience, some play to get away from the real world for a moment in time, some play to witness an engaging story. Some, play for all of these things.
Video games can have different purposes in all of our lives and they can also impact us in a multitude of ways. We might have learned a lesson from a game or we might just have felt a happiness from a game that helped us through a difficult time.
What games have had the most impact on your life, and why? |

World of Warcraft.
It's hard to explain why, but yeah. It has to do with friends I met. |

Silent Hill.
Honestly I can't even fathom how beautiful this game is, before this, I never took gaming seriously, but now I truly think of it as art.
I would love to explain why I love the series, so, much, but I can't ya' know? It's a strange thing. |

| The Soul Blazer series sort of had an impact on me. Those were some of the strangest and most confusing games I've played. |

Grand Theft Auto Vice City. This game helped me form my musical and movie taste.
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. The elder scrolls world engulfed me and my cousins with its fantastic lore. |
