| I was thinking about writing either a short story or an ongoing story. I just need some ideas for it. So, if you have any ideas, let me know. ( I am an amateur writer so I will take criticism. ) |

Maybe a short story about a psychic who unknowingly helps a murderer kill his final victim? And, this could lead to an ongoing series similar to The X-Files, with this psychic traveling the world helping others, with supernatural problems.
Ye. I'm not very good, with stories.
I'm just throwing a few out there. |

Write what you know.
Write what you feel.
Think of childhood experiences or stories from friends. Think of paranormal events that have happened to you or family. Expand. Connect. Interweave. |

Are you saying that you're an victim of a vampire attack? |

Yeah.
Every Thursday I see a vampire down the street.
Actually I just like writing abouts vampires because I grew up watching vampire films.
But my mom did have a story that happened to her once. Her and her cousin were horseback riding down some path and they stopped by this lake. Her cousin started swimming when some guy went up to my mom and he had some teeth deformities where his canine teeth were super long.
Then my mom and her cousin rode like hell. |

| When I was little, I had teeth deformities somewhat like that except they were higher up in my gums so they didn't look as big. It was weird. |

| Ye. I have unusually sharp canine teeth. Dentists are always saying they want to sand them down. I tell them no because they'll like destroy them like they did my mom's. |

| Write Sherlock Holmes fanfiction. Remember to include the Illuminati and Moriarty as a vampire. |

| I would Nil, but I want to do something more original than a fan-fiction. I see many of those on these forums. |

| Fanfiction can be very original. If you do it right, it's almost exactly the same as a book like The Great Gatsby, some other popular book, etc. You're taking a setting that people are already familiar with and telling a new story in it. There's no problem with that. The problem comes when you turn it into wish fulfillment, with characters from the original work doing things out of character or generally being involved in a way that breaks the original work. I recommend looking at the fanfic Pedestal if you're familiar with the Pokemon games, or The Wondrous Adventures of the Righteous Maximus if you like Legend of Zelda. They are both fanfiction done right, in my opinion. |

| That's true. You've proved your point, I'll think about it. |

| Oh. I don't know that movie. I need to watch more movies, but the only channels I watch are the Smithsonian Channel and ABC when Jeopardy is on so I never hear about any new movies :L |
