Here's a timeline for atheists:
←------1----------------2--3--------→
1 = Origin of Universe (Big Bang) 2 = Origin of Earth (stuff crashing together) 3 = Origin of Humanity (Evolution)
Now, where do we place the origin of God? Because we are assuming that everything has an origin, right?
If EVERYTHING has an origin, then the laws of physics must have an origin, right? So let's add that on the timeline....
←--4--------------1----------------2--3--------→
4 = Origin of the Laws of Physics
But, doesn't that mean the Law of Origin must ALSO have an origin? Let's throw that on the timeline...
←-5-----------------4------------1----------------2--3--------→
5 = Origin of the Law of Origin (AKA Law of Cause and Effect)
Then were would God be? Well, once we line everything up, God would be...
6←----5-----------------4------------1----------------2--3--------→
6 = God
If God came before the Law of Origin, then God would not have been required to have an origin. Meaning, by the laws that bound this universe, God could have never originated, yet, always existed.
Let me put up a full version of the limeline...
1←----2-----------------3------------4----------------5--6--------→
1 = God 2 = Origin of the Law of Origin (AKA Law of Cause and Effect) 3 = Origin of the Laws of Physics 4 = Origin of the Universe (Big Bang) 5 = Origin of the Earth (stuff crashing into each other) 6 = Origin of Man (Evolution)

@michael
The entire argument for "who created God" is based around the assumption that everything must have an origin.
A "law" in science is something that governs things. If everything must have an origin, then calling it "the law of origin" is a scientifically correct statement.

Please ask an exact answer. I can't answer "what". |

| Its basically impossible to know what created the universe. Both theories are most likely false |

Impossible. Without physics or even cause and effect, how can anything exist at all?

@Epiti I didn't? I drew a timeline and placed exactly where he originated.
@TheLast >"Um. You are doing this assuming God is true." Let's remove God from the timeline..
←----1-----------------2------------3----------------4--5--------→
1 = Origin of the Law of Origin (AKA Cause and EffecT) 2 = Origin of the Laws of Physics 3 = Origin of the Universe (Big Bang) 4 = Origin of the Earth 5 = Origin of Man (Evolution)
Not much different at all.
>"You are trying to fit him in to an equation where he is not needed." You asked me where he originated, and I told you exactly.
>" Trust me. I know. I just won't tell you for fear of it being stolen before I publish it. Just trust me."
Was that a troll attempt? |

First, there was a magical unicorn princess that, with it's magical abilities, created a beautiful land called "Pittsburgh." There, the princess created the first two humans, Adam and Steve. But Steve was st8 so Adam was all alone.
Then, a magical storm lifted him into a magical realm, where rabbits roamed, and gypsies did gypsy related stuff. But suddenly, and evil tentacle monster appeared, and took Adam as his eternal slave.
Eventually, an armada of aliens freed Adam and he was taken to their home planet where they had to defeat the Tyrant King and/or Queen. In a long, everlasting battle, Adam finally became the victor, to whom the magical unicorn princess paid a visit. She gave him a bottle of pixie dust as a reward, and he used it to create the modern world we live in today.
The End. |

@Aard >"Impossible. Without physics or even cause and effect, how can anything exist at all?"
So you do not believe that the laws of physics have an origin? Then this "law of origin" does not exist?
Then that would mean, something would not be required to have an origin.
But even if the law of origin did exist, something could still exist without an origin if it existed before the law of origin originated. |
