she is constantly talking to herself in different voices
it's like she's actually talking to people but there's no one there
sometimes it gets violent

Does she actually have a diagnosis or are you just guessing? She may just be trying to get attention.
If not though, I'd assume it's either schizophrenia or dissociative identity disorder. Very serious stuff. |

| Sometimes that happens to me, but I suppose its more of self loathing and boredom then an actual disorder. |

| On the other hand, If she is schizophrenic, she might think you're plotting against her. I know the feeling. I'm schizoaffective. |

who does that for attention? nobody there are better ways of getting attention
it's probably just her personality, not schizophrenia itself, though |

@bonjour does the paranoia affect everyone to that level though? I've always thought the set of symptoms was kind of fluid, like one person diagnosed may suffer more from one aspect of it, another person another aspect, another person all of them equally etc while still qualifying for the diagnosis |

@r05
It's not South Park. It was some show on Disney, I believe.

@WriggleNightbug
Well, I did say might. Paranoia is a common symptom of schizophrenia, though one does not have to be paranoid to be a schizophrenic. You're right with saying that diagnoses is kinda fluid.

| But anyway, what I was saying was it might not be a good idea to approach her if she's schizophrenic. Just my two cents. |

| Sure, but it would be a nice gesture and if it doesn't work, then at least you tried. Nothing to be lost, right? |
