It is not outdated, I use it regularly. However, I do suppose it is more of a reference guide then it is a learning site. I suggest going to the LuaLearners website, and or group for scripting help.

| First learn Funitcion dfd () stuff. I did the Normal stuff first. And it messed me up. |

| I find the LuaLearners website (lualearners.org) more helpful than the wiki to find help with bits of code. |

I learned all the basics by practicing scripting guides on the wiki (which improved since I joined) and moved on to lua.org/pil to learn the advanced things
btw You really won't learn much unless you actually put in some effort. I learned scripting a lot easier than many people here but its because I really wanted to learn and put in the time. So its mostly practice |
