And people arguing about what classifies as music.
Are there really no fellow musicians here to actually talk about the interesting aspects of music? Production, composition, theory, mixing, instrumentation, etc.? Someone looking for critique on a song? SOMETHING interesting and musical? |

I don't even remember the sequences of sharps/flats ahahahah |

"can i just take an opportunity to say that OP sounds really really pretentious"
Not surprising. When I see a music forum with almost no discussion of music, I get pretty annoyed.
"I don't even remember the sequences of sharps/flats ahahahah"
All you really need to know is the sequence of whole/half steps that make up a type of scale (like major, melodic minor, harmonic minor, diminished, etc.) since it's the same for every key. If I'm understanding what you're saying, that is. |

mainly it's the BEADGCF and FCGDAEB thing, and their minors etc that I still sometimes have to look at a cheat sheet for
Right now I'm on diminished triads
and I have no idea what I'm doing |

"and I have no idea what I'm doing"
Yep, that's music :P
I've never had any formal training or theory lessons myself. In terms of tangible knowledge, I know my basic scales, I have a basic understanding of harmonics and acoustics, and that's it. |

| If you want to be taken at all seriously as a vocalist, you are going to need a fairly good mic. |

| Well this is ROBLOX if the people here would be more mature I would actually be talking about how I play to upright bass and the other instruments I play. |

Hey, little downs for shamelessly plugging yourself. But big ups for being an awesome person, David, so I guess it negates that little downs. Your lucky.
And to the OP, my god, you need to learn how to access old threads. There you will find a bunch of threads actually discussing musik.
But it's not that bad lately. I just had a fight over Ed Sheepran last night, and that's musikal discussion. |
