Right now all its got is a somewhat nicely scripted minigame.. And I mean mini.
Select the tool, look at the "white man" and he won't attack you. Look away, he will. (Trying to make it where you can't unselect the tool.)
If you guys would please, help me come up with a name and a few ideas. I want to make it like a maze thats randomly generated and somewhat hard to get out of, and of course having a few monsters in it.
(This is not going to be related to SCP CB once this is more thought out.)

No SCP or Slender(s) in this game, working on better textures... For now get used to the SCP ones. :l

And, nice names.. but not mysterious. Think of something mysterious.
As for what this game is going to be: (Took a night and a day to think about this) Small horror mini horror game, look at this and something happens. Look at that something else happens..
No story, just needing some ideas.. Would like to make this into a maze-like game with small obstacles to get over such as:
walls that close in on you after you walk past them, Doors that'll hiss then shut on you, killing you. You could avoid them by hearing the hiss step back from the door, let it close then reopen and RUN through.
And thats it really, :l

Well, let me explain the copying part.
Randomly generated maze. -Mine. Monsters and obstacles throughout the maze. -Mine. A horror minigame in the first place. -Suggested to you by, guess who? Walls that close behind you. -Suggested by you to put on MINE.
I'd like to see you pull off the randomly generated part (without fms), because I'm pretty much ahead of you on that one... and ahead on the scariness... The main creature's behavior isn't your idea, either. Nor is the hissing doors, but I'll give ya credit on that one.
Now, if you didn't copy me, what would you be left with?
No maze. No main monster that you will find throught the game. No horror minigame if I knew you were gonna, you know, take my idea.
The main reason I'm ticked is that you do THIS after the fact my idea was thought of, at the same time, scripted quickly, and made its way to the blog leaving me to abort my project.
And he made his "innovative" script a FREE MODEL!
And then you go around saying you will make a horror game that is a randomly generated maze with a creature that scares and is the main obstacle in the game, and then you really set me off right here:
Your project is UNCOPYLOCKED so ANYONE can just take what WAS my idea and use it for their own use, giving me no credit what so ever.

Not even going to get mad at you, we settled this via PM. Now waffle, just answer this? So, if lets say... Roblox wanted to make a game that would randomly generate a maze and have closing walls, and you told the admin that idea that night and he makes it, would you say he stole your idea? More then likely, but what if he switched it from hedge like maze layout to urban styled city using backways and alleys ways? Would you still call it stolen idea? Yes, he took you idea and built off it, but cause he didn't make it into a test chamber like room maze or use the name "Walls" its his own idea at that point. (Note this not a spoiler for the game.)
And yes waffle, I sure can make a maze without a free model -_- And btw, Waffle need i point out dis door on my alt: http://www.roblox.com/Slding-Door-item?id=98636418 Adding sound is extremely easy.
I will admit the AI is not my idea, anyone can see its a SCP 173.., But I wanted to test my ray casting out, and first thing that popped into my mind is "SCP ONE-SEVEN -THREE NEEDS A HUG!" and made him.
Now waffle about the AI, I did clearly state in the place desc that the place is a bit SCP related. Thats going to change.
Now back to the maze, I will not use you idea or name and take credit, that is not my style for it is stealing. I've had things stolen from me, so I know what it feels like, therefore I will not use YOUR game idea. That is yours NOT mine. Period.
I will however use your concept of making it random for each play. How one will ask? Different rooms, + different ending to the maze-like structure. Ah, you didn't think of that part. :3
After saying that, I want to thank you for giving me an idea. And I thank you for inspiring me to make it. And I thank you for hating me for using your inspiration... jk.. I hope..

Nope, I plan on making a maze with the same room for each segment. That's not random...
No, you're right I didn't tell you I was using different rooms or endings...
I also didn't directly tell you that there was a ground, either. I didn't directly tell you anything except that mine had walls, and was a randomly generated maze.
And if that's pretty much the only things I told you, and somehow you are now making... a randomly generated maze horror game, it leads me to believe you weren't using my "idea" as inspiration, but almost copying all of what I told you.
If I were to get inside info on ROBLOX's physics interface directly from the ROBLOX President himself and went on to make a social website with games using a similar engine, guess who's gonna look like an uber noob?
Hey! I didn't copy ROBLOX!!! I was inspired by their physics and that somehow led me to making a similar website!

Now before this turns into a war.. Waffle I miss understood you, I thought by maze you meant like lab right type of maze..
No ground? 0.0 now thats creepy.. No Waffle my maze isn't going to your maze.
Pretty much think of mine like a labrat like maze but with bunches of rooms instead of walls.
Given by the short desc of yours, your sounds like more of a thriller maze then anything else. No ground.. No walls or is there walls or shall you think its a wall and its a pit? still, I have a feeling its a thriller. (Is that the right word?)
Mine seems boring... Eh sticking with my idea though. Waffle, good luck on yours though. And Waffle, if you need help. I'll help free of cost, not even asking about your idea. I just have one request for it. Just one, will you keep it a secret project till its done? Plz and thanks. |

I never said my game wasn't going to be inside of Toys R Us and it's just a dream and you wake up in a dollhouse!!!
It's my sarcastic way of saying, DUH! Of course my maze is going to have a ground. It's a given.
All I told you was exactly the parts I found you got "inspired" by.

Names: 'The Maddest Mind' 'Staring Contest' 'Target Found' 'The Observer'
Possible story: (Note, player cannot stand still for more than 15 seconds or else tentacles rise from the walls, floor, and ceiling and tear them apart brutally.) You are an inmate in 1986. Diagnosed as mentally insane, psychiatrists but you under and manipulate your subconscious mind to literally force you to face your fears in a strange 'dream realm'. After surviving a random amount of time, you will get a memory of the horrors that have caused this nightmare. Then you must wait longer for the next one, though the intervals are all still randomized.
Basically, you were a Vietnam War veteran. During your service, you encountered a deadly being in an abandoned house. Your squad died, and it was apparent that you did it though you knew otherwise. Make no mistake, you ARE still insane either way, and strange beings from a tortured childhood still walk through the maze's halls, only partially forgotten.
(Possibly an ending if all memories are viewed, which shows you being released from the prison/asylum?) (Possibly a sequel where you are back at home at the start of the game, but suddenly the being visits you in real life instead of a dream, and attacks you. I have a more involved plot for this but you'd need to PM me for it.)

Naw, it's too much of a story that couldn't be explained in a minigame...
It's semi-original, but the insane saylum/prison, no. Nor is the whole war veteran story who encounters a strange being, so no. (In way, it sounds like the SCP-096 story where all but one person trying to capture it survive... it's a cool story.)
Tentacles? That's pretty cool. You should put that in, defininately.
Mine has a more scarier way of preventing people from stopping... more... fun. :)
But you should stick with that story. But remember...
Don't explain it in boring text. Let it be explained THROUGHOUT the game.
PS: Take it off of uncopylocked... people search for uncopylocked games and add on to them and get 'em on the front page. That and it ticks me off when someone takes an idea that I work hard on, and makes it free so people think I copied whoever it was... -_-

And yes explaining a story through text is quite boring. But through gameplay is better. |

I'm no genius when it comes to scripting.
However, if you make the tool a hopperbin, then you can make it so it's functions work in the mouse, but the tool itself is removed. This makes for more realistic gameplay. I've seen this in a model I've been adapting, try using this code before the script starts...
hopper.Selected:connect(function(mouse) hopper:remove()

Its a free 2 play horror game, I personally found it more of a jumper then a scarer type of game.
Simple Google "SCP Containment Breach" to find out more. I warn you though, this game is not met for those who have a bad heart or get scared easy.
