Does anyone have a simple suggestion for me, just to kick start my journey down the programming/coding road?
Like, what should I do first that is simple.

Well, if you're focused on Lua, look for a place by Dingdong272 in my favorites. For Java, XML, CSS, C++, PHP, Ruby, Python, Javascript, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, or AJAX, you want thenewboston on Youtube. |

| If doing lua, try the LuaLearners website (Google LuaLearners), Or you can watch stickamsterluke's scripting tutorials |

Out of those three, you need to start with HTML (use the XML tutorials) jQuery and AJAX are used with Javascript, and are VERY useful, I suggest learning them when you finish with Javascript. jQuery does have AJAX methods though, so learning how to type out the AJAX block may be a bit much, when I started using AJAX I didn't know much about jQuery, so I stuck to a huge block of code that in the end, really wasn't needed.
As far as Ruby goes, I don't know much about it. I haven't coded it at all, but I believe it's involved in some type of website coding?
thenewboston covers all of it though, so just look up his channel. ALSO, you'll need CSS to go along with the HTML if you want the webpage being more then black and white with some text lol. |

| I love taking scripts from models and finding out how they tick. It's a great way to learn styles of Lua that other people use, and you can apply to your scripts too. |
