Article I: Promotion Guidelines
Promotions must be given out to ranks varying from Recruit to Corpral once the combatant reaches the following qualifactions: >Must own the MCO Uniform (Any terrain variation) >Must attend a minimum of 3 trainings per rank and a maximum of 5
Article II: Demotion Guidelines
Any demotion must be explained on the group wall as a writ of habeas corpus. Any and all demotions concerning MR's and HR's must be tried in Court and the defendant must be notified of the trial 24 hours, or more, in advance. The defendant has a right to an attourney that is in MCO or any of its sub-divisions, if the attourney is requested by the defendant. The Commander in Chief serves as the judge in the matter. Every HR becomes part of the jury and must have an equal vote in the matter if they meet the requirements: >They must have been online in the past 2 weeks >They have participated in a group event or posted on the group wall in the past month The decision of the jury is made on a simple majority, and is then publicly stated on the group wall and in a party consisting of at least 3 jury members and the judge. The judge may either agree to the decision or veto it. In the latter, the jury must make a 2/3 majority to override the veto. In either scenario, the judge determines the sentence and the say is final.
Article III: New Ranks
All new ranks can be proposed by any General or the Commander In Chief, but all HR's must have an equal vote in approving the new rank. A simple majority stands and is the final say in the matter. Every rank is voted on individually and the Commander has a vote worth of two normal votes.
Article IV: Group Places
Every and all group places must be approved by the Commander In Chief and the CIC alone. The CIC has the final say and there is veto override.
Article V: Uniforms
Every MCO is required to wear a uniform in group events. Uniforms can only be made by the CIC and anyone they choose. Anyone may ask to make a new Uniform, but the CIC has the only say in the matter.
Article VI: Establishment of Power
Any and all new or unmentioned powers go to the Commander In Chief. The MCO Guidelines still apply.
Article VII: Amendments
All amendments must be formally stated in replies to this post. Every amendment will be judged by the Generals and the CIC. Simple majority is the requirement. General voting requirments apply. Equal votes for all deciding factors (includes the CIC). Veto Overrides are acceptable. Only the Commander may post the approval/denial of the amendment and must follow the decision. Only post one amendment at a time, and wait for the last amendment to be given a judgement before posting a new one. If two amendments are proposed in a row, the decision stated below them only applies to the amendment that was posted first.
Article VIII: Decision on the Constitution
The absolute first reply must be the decision of the Constitution, and the terms for deciding its approval or rejection are the same for judging an amendment, except all HRs must have an equal vote instead of limiting the decision to the Generals and the CIC. |
