This is for our pal Mario.
The Gate - this film I grew up on. Scary funny and so on. Watch it.
Lady in White - I still haven't bothered to watch it yet but my sister loved it so I assume its good.
Drag Me To Hell - Evil Dead's little sister.
The Ring - Classic.
Critters - This is great fun. I think its PG actually.
Killer Klowns From Outer Space - YESSSS
Poltergeist - Considered one of the greatest horror films.

Yeah monster squad and creeps both have Fred Dekker as director. However Creeps is R. pretty cool movie though if you ever do see it.
"Girls your dates are here."
"What's the bad news?"

There are many old, great, classic horror films that aren't rated, but if they did they would probably be on the PG level, like:
Frankenstein Dracula Creature From the Black Lagoon
I also think that the 1960 "Psycho" should be on the PG-PG13 level, I can't imagine why they rated it R on its releases and TV showings. |

Well, I think we put together a pretty decent list.
"I also think that the 1960 "Psycho" should be on the PG-PG13 level, I can't imagine why they rated it R on its releases and TV showings."
Those were different times though, mate. My grandmother said that people were literally running out of their houses whilst watching it. |

1. Jaws ( My personal favorite)
2. I am legend.
3. The woman in black.
4. Physcho
5. Texas Chainsaw massacre 1974 (I'm not sure if the ratings changed though.)
That is all I know about, interesting list. |

| Psycho was technically PG when it was made. And TCM was MADE to be PG but was rated R. |
