Log on to your computer and click on the "Start" button. Choose "All Programs" from the menu and then choose "Accessories." Select "System Tools" from the menu and choose "System Restore." 2
Look at the System Restore calendar and find the restore point for the previous day. Choose that restore point and click "Next." Start the restore process and allow your operating system to set your computer back to its previous state. 3
Watch for your computer to restart. When the PC restarts, the restore process has been completed. Log back on to your computer and confirm that you wish to keep the restore point you have chosen.
