A combination is nice.
Just one is annoying and rather stupid.
Gun only forts are alright, and rather enjoyable, but they lack the sense of realism when you're right in front of someone with an assault rifle and they don't have a melee attack.
Sword Only forts are built like they could survive a freaking missile. They lack any realism, they bother me, and I really dislike them. Every Sword Only Fort I've see has been poorly built, Uses way too many bricks, and has empty useless buildings/rooms.
A combination provides just the right aspects for warfare. |

Poorly built.
It's focused on the ability to Cframe. There are so many useless rooms. The Fort is Extremely annoying. The walls have no purpose but for show, And the sheer amount of useless space/bricks bothers me. Forts need to be simple, and need to execute the properties of a hangout that's prepared for war. A fort isn't a Cframe building project. |

| I like highly nerfed guns with a normal sword. Powerful guns make swords worthless. |

I honestly like swords. Especially some meshes swords that do the same damage as a default linked sword, but have a different look or taste to it.
An example could be a roman long sword that does the same damage as the linked sword.
Now, with guns, they can have bugs and tend to get people in corners which causes flaming, etc. I think swords are just those types of weaponry that you can use, and if you lose, you don't get much complaints. |

Well, Xephlos, I've seen people complain "ogm make it have guns111" when they lose. People will flame either way. It's better to have both and see if the guns cause major lag, then decide if you will get rid of them.
One fort I visited stole WIJ's weapons and did not include a sword. I PM'ed the leader asking him to put int a sword, since I was going to declare war on them. He replied (Something like this); "Im not going to put a sword in just because your men cant fight with guns lol".
So, yeah. It's better to have both.

There will always be biased and unfair terms on 'ROBLOX Warfare' - really doesnt even exist.
Yeah, of course life isn't fair. War isn't fair.
But, this is a game, where we the people can alter it to be fair. Hell, I'd be glad to create guns and what-not to make things fair for both sides. (If I was advanced at such a thing)
I don't mind a side having an edge to the battle, and it takes skill and strategy for the other side to win, but sometimes it's just plain ridiculous.
This is why I indicate there's no real winners to a war here on ROBLOX. Unless each raid was documented with Decals in HD, or HD Videos and the leaders sat down and agreed on every counted victory, then THAT'S a WAR. |

My forts will always be fair to the ability to obtain weaponry. It's just not going to be fair getting back to it.
If raiders control the base, I want to have a hell of a time reclaiming the fort. Same to raiders raiding us. I want it to be a challenge, not a hop across the meadow.
Do think about this:
My forts are always unfair in one aspect, but fair in others. The GA has lost more wars than we've won. I pity people who scream when my forts are unfair. There are plenty of people who can use a skill and organize a strategy that win at my forts.

War on ROBLOX is too predictable, really.
It is a rare sight when someone actually admits defeat and is like "Okay, good job. You won the war. Congratulations." Instead, it's more along the lines of "THAT IS A FALSE VICTORY111 I DID NOT ADMIN ABUSE11 I MERELY KICKED YOUR SOLDIER1111"
War terms should be decided on before war is declared. In said terms, should be a rule on what victories count; such as HD picture or video. Also in these terms should be a date the war will end on and all pictures or videos will be reviewed at said date.
Final Battles are a waste of time. Mercenaries are hired, while the other team uses their own men. Final Battles should be fought only to break a tie. Even then, Final battles should be fought with only your own men, no mercenaries involved.
