NOTE: I'm making this because of the recent flourish of ROBLOXians coming to C&G. Most of them are new.
Rule 1: Dodging is more important than striking. This is a rule you HAVE to follow. Always dodge your opponent's blade before striking them. If they strike again, dodge. If you don't follow this rule, I am 99.9% positive you'll lose a duel.
Tip 1: Always attack after they strike. I'm not saying just rush them like a madman, but wait for after a strike when you're close to them. You should be able to take off a large chunk of health, if not kill them. Just remember that the ROBLOX humanoids regenerate health.
Rule 2: Always either go into first person mode or use mouse lock. To go into first person, if you have a mouse, use the wheel to scroll in. If you're on a laptop with no mouse, hit the + button in the bottom-right corner until you can't go in anymore. For mouse lock, first, hit the button in the bottom-left corner that says "Menu." Then, hit the third button down that says "Game Settings." Then, click the "Character & Game Controls" tab. Finally, click the tab that says "MouseLockSwitch."
Tip 2: Double click with a sword to lunge. This will not only give you a farther strike, but it will deal more damage, too. You cannot be a good sword-fighter unless you learn how to lunge with a sword.
Rule 3: Always use the WASD keys in combat to move around. It will give you more opportunities, make dodging easier, and it's much more convenient then the arrow keys.
Tip 3: Always try to lunge at the back of the humanoid. It is virtually unprotected and if they show you it, be cautious because they may turn around and kill you. In combat itself, try for the back unless they stand there showing you it.
Well, that's all I can think of right now. With these basic rules and tips, I hope I improved your sword-fighting skills! |

First rule is false. That, and this is really really really basic stuff. You also forgot to mention always keep your enemy in front of you.

Dodging is more important than striking because you'd be slaughtered otherwise.

I could easily slaughter you in sword fight. Also, I think striking is more important that dodging.

Eh. Not a bad guide. But there are some things about it I'd disagree with. Well done though.

I use third person because it makes turning faster, I switch out of mouse lock at the last possible second.
