*This is a long post, but I would really appreciate if you gave me your insight as well. One voice isn't enough, which is a code UCR should go by.*
Now, recently had a new member named MICOL2242 who recently has been promoted to H3.
Usually, one would congratulate someone on this accomplishment due to it being an achievement of dedication and work within the United Clan of ROBLOX.
This is not one of these cases, though. I do not like calling members out on things, and this is NOT only Micol, but the biggest problem is how this is a slap in the face to every hard working UCR member from L2 to H2. Mico, was hand placed into the H3 position to be the Head of Technology with no current work in UCR.
Now, what could be the problem with this?
Well, first of all this can, as I said, annoy a heck of a lot of UCR members. I know countless members who are frustrated with this instant promotion. Most of us are frustrated because these people being instantly promoted haven't done anything for that role. When we spend countless hours working to benefit UCR and dedicate our time to it some random guy can be bribed a free ride in UCR gets rank ahead of us? How does that seem fair? Do you really think it is the smartest of ideas to annoy this many hard working UCR members? I would say, it isn't.
Second off, these people who you instantly rank up are not commited to our group. In some cases these people stay a little bit to get the flavor of UCR to leave to some other group. When someone works their tails off for a group they prove their loyalty to that group and when you go out to find someone to fill a role you, first of all deprive a dedicated member from achieving a role that actually matters in UCR as well as place someone who may not even care about UCR, but only wanted a high placement into that position. This puts us in the PERFECT position for another failure like Neo to occur. We now put this huge responsibility in the hands of someone we recruited for the job and then they could get bored and just leave or just put it to the side and sit idle in the H3 spot. I don't want another disappointment like Neo to occur in UCR. We need DEDICATED members working in our high positions who have proved themselves to UCR. We can't just be picking up someone who may only work with us temporarily.
Finding meaningful work in UCR is already a problem enough for members in UCR. Senators don't do much as well as Philos. Captains are doomed to only run training and Officers literally only can rank up to do remotely anything. You can attempt to go to H1 but even there you are trapped in doing someone else's work or go back into the pool of Mx again. This is not where any member in UCR wants to be stuck in, but is too common for many, many people. I applaud each and every one of these people who have endured it, much, much longer than I have in this endless cycle of mediocrity while unable to be given the chance to prove themselves with meaningful work in UCR. Instead they go week by week staying true to the clan even when these people who haven't shown this dedication to UCR are hand picked into their position. These are the REAL members of UCR who should be considered. Not these "prestigious" members who leave and come back time and time again or who we just recruit to do our work. I wish for UCR to make changes for improvement in the future with these important decisions because we claim we are a "family" but this is not how I'd treat any family of mine.
Thank you for reading.

| Read it and I agree, loyalty first, instead of hiring someone. |

| Hey it's alright when you're the first person to start the clan, but when you have thousands upon thousands of loyal and qualified members, it's a slap in the face. |

Due to the massive opposition to instant promotion in UCR and otherwise, I'll be speaking with Poisonlava. I am happy to work my way up through the low ranks as well. I believe when Poisonlava offered me the rank of Director of Diplomacy, she was thinking of productivity, because I have been in a huge help in that area in the past, in UCR and otherwise.
However, while I do not find going through multiple trainings, and taking exams I wrote myself to be beneficial to me or UCR. I do see how it makes me more loyal and dedicated to the clan, and I will certainly be looking into this. Though it will delay my writing of the UCR handbook and working in diplomacy, I'm sure that can be worked out.
Support, even if I am an oxymoron to this thread. |

| Ben it's to show us you think you aren't so high and mighty that you deserve to be allowed to come in and take a spot that we've poured our heart and souls into getting. I'm sure every single one of our members would jump on the opportunity to write something like a handbook for UCR, but they're never going to get a chance to do so at this point. By going through what we went through you show us that you at least aren't "too good" to go through what we went through. |
