TL;DR Skip to the line that says "My version"
I really don't care what most people say about this, since most of you aren't long time MH Fans. But, I do care about a few of you, so here's the deal.
DonCurrency/CosimoValuta has a Mike Hike Plot for a reboot of sorts for the Mike Hike franchise. He will be making his own movie and it will be released in July (hopefully.)
I. Hate. His. Plot.
So, I want the opinions of the old MH (and new) MH fans.
My version (and the original version)
Mike Hike appears walking to his brother's home. When he arrives, Mike displays his power in training. Later, he has a dream about a demon-like creature attacking him and the city he resides in. It haunts him the next day, and when he approaches his friend, Nick, about the dream, Nick says his father (who is presumably dead,) is alive. Nick proceeds to give him coordinates and tell him where to go. Mike gets angry about the subject, but goes to the coordinates anyways, in search. He arrives infront of a cave, containing his father. When his father reveals that Mike is more powerful than he thinks, and the creature named Zillga's location, Mike leaves to fight the monster, and end his tyranny once and for all.
Here's Don/Comsimo's version:
In the year 1217, a group of superhumans were born. The first mutants on our planet were in a group called The Elemental Knights, Julius Herman Hike (The Fire Knight), Lucas Michael Hay (The Earth Knight), Richard Poless Hon (The Aqua Knight), Draconia Harret (The Lava Knight) fought Hellspawn. On the hillsides in Europe, a man named Zimmerman murders a local church priest, only to be killed by Julius. However, Zimmerman meets the Devil in Underworld and becomes the demon Zillga. Seeking Revenge, Zillga searches and discovers Robert Hike. When Richard defeats Zillga, he prepares an army to conquer the city in which he lives, Richmond, California. When Mike Hike, the son of Robert, discovers his ancestral past, learning that his father who was supposedly dead for 9 years is alive, he reveals why Mike has the mutant power of creating fire and why he has gone into hiding, revealing the long family history. After Mike Hike learns of Zillga’s return to Earth, he teams with his brother Michael Hike, and his friends Clay Hay, Nick (Jon) Hon, Don Hon, (Duke Huke), and Sierra Freeze to take down Zillga, (Zilla) and a demon army once and for all, and Mike discovers his real power, The Fire Knight.
Duke Huke controls plants. (grass)

This Mike Hike movie will be called Mike Hike: Fire Ignited and it is supposed to be a retcon of some aspects from Capcom's MH movie series, so just like MAN OF STEEL to Superman in the comics..
This movie is for the VCU, a shared superhero universe that starts with The Revenger. |

| As I see it, both plots are great. The only thing is that Cosimo's seems like an origin story, not the actual movie. I'm not sure if that's what it is supposed to be, but the way Cap said it, it seemed like it isn't. |

| I like Cosimo's a little better because it has a true beginning. Cap's is just a straight jump in. |

I can't post the actual origin story because it's quite graphic. Trust me, that's the censored version of Don's plot.
He's putting a girl made out of boogers in the second movie. |

You are correct, Mike Hike: Fire Ignited is supposed to be a Reboot of Mike Hike in the VCU Superhero Movie Universe, with some elements retcon, which means updated or changed.
As for capcom's statement, there currently is no contract for a second movie yet so that is inaccurate. |

Fine >:L
I'll give you the real plot but If I get banned I'm blaming you guise.
The Mike Hike Universe has a vast amount of interesting characters, prehaps the most interesting is Mike Hike. His life is a very distorted and somewhat cruel story, but it's very interesting. Born in 1991, Mike Hike was born with his fire control, recieved for his father. Mike Hike was born in Oklahoma, but his mother died at his birth. Mike Hike was a half-orphan, with his brother Michael. His father raised them, and when he was eight, they moved to Richmond, California. Mike Hike met his first friend sharing similar abilities, Clay. Clay controlled the very rock they stood on. They became life-long friends, and they were happy. When the met the next one, Nick, he claimed he had the same powers, and he formed water in his hand. They were also forever friends. Not all of Mike's life was positive. When he was 12, he came home to a burning home. Stunned, he dropped to his knees and called for his father, with lack of response. He pounded the ground and began to cry, and a sample of his latent powers were expelled. Hearing Mike's cries for help, his friends ran to him and called the police. They were too late, and Mike was inside the house exploring for his father. He stayed inside until the fire subsided. When it stopped, the police ran in and found Mike crying over his father's burnt hair. For the next 6 years, Mike lived in peace. Suddenly, the nightmares started. He thrashed in writhed as he was attacked by demons in his dreams. His life-long friend, Nick, says to talk to his father, and gives him coordinates claiming his father is alive. Mike leaves with disgust, knowing that he was lying. However, when he arrived, he was proven wrong. He met his father, Robert. Enraged, he punched him in the mouth, and screamed at him. Robert told him about the demon Zillga.
And I expect Mike Hike fans to know the rest from there.
I also cut out Clay's part because it includes some non-child friendl things. |

Let me just leave this plot you sent me here...
MIKE HIKE: FIRE IGNITED: In a time before our known world, in the realm of The Kingdom of Heaven, Jehova banished out Lucifer to the realm we know today as Hell. In the year 1217, a group of superhumans were born. The first mutants on our planet were in a group called The Elemental Knights, Julius Herman Hike (The Fire Knight), Lucas Michael Hay (The Earth Knight), Richard Poless Hon (The Aqua Knight), Draconia Harret (The Lava Knight), Hellspawn (The Darkness Knight), and The Booger Knight. On the hillsides in Europe, a man named Zimmerman murders a local church priest, only to be killed by Julius. However, Zimmerman meets Lucifer in Hell and becomes the demon Zillga. Seeking Revenge, Zillga searches and discovers Robert Hike. When Richard defeats Zillga, he prepares an army to conquer the city in which he lives, Richmond, California. When Mike Hike, the son of Robert, discovers his ancestral past, learning that his father who was supposedly dead for 9 years is alive, he reveals why Mike has the mutant power of creating fire and why he has gone into hiding, revealing the long family history, from his grandfather, Nicholas Hike, to Julius himself. After Mike Hike learns of Zillga’s return to Earth, he teams with his brother Michael Hike, and his friends Clay Hay, Nick (Jon) Hon, Don Hon, Duke Huke, and Sierra Freeze to take down Zillga and a demon army once and for all, and Mike discovers his real power, The Fire Knight. |

I can tell I'm being a bit biased in trying to prove my point but I want people to see this. Or at least the old Mike Hike fans. Everyday he says to me over skype: "what if it's successful and you are wrong and all of the old Mike Hike fans like it"

Well, Cosimo's version does give a background to where his powers came from in the beginning of the film. However I'd prefer Cap's plot because it leaves the viewer wondering where this power is coming (will it be revealed later on in the film/series?), but if you reuse the original plot, that makes me bring up the question of whether it's actually necessary and worthwhile to remake the Mike Hike series, because then aren't you making almost a carbon-copy of the original film (except maybe with a little improvements)?. Also, the last film in the series was released not too long ago, and you're already remaking the series.
Anyway, though I like both, I'm sticking with Cap's. The background/prologue to Cosmio's film removes just about any sense of mystery as to where Mike's powers came from (with the point that the original gives mystery, I feel it gives a little too much 'mystery' though).
By the way, the characters Don Hon, Clay Hay etc, are they in both plots, or just Cosimo's (I haven't actually seen the Mike Hike films (excluding the last one I think), so I don't know the whole plotline). And also, the Booger Knight - seriously? |

@John Please stop being such a suckup, it's annoying. I'm not saying you're wrong, it's that everytime I see you say anything it's about don and how great he is. @Super Thanks, but I'm more looking for original Mike Hike fan's opinions.

| I think we should go with Caps, because it should be for kids a bit, but remake his past enemies into one weird glob, (Not really, just a word) who kills everyone but Mike, Clay, and Don. And he has the powers to fix everything. |

Also, after talking to cosimo, I learned that we can't use our original plots because it doesn't count.
So, I'm making a new thread.
