Just wondering, but how would one go about to give a brick a "Glowing" effect? I've seen one way of doing it for a candle, but it looks real cheap.. Anyway I could possible make a brick glow like this?

Change it's properties. Change it's reflectivity and it's transparency.

Or just wait till the new lighting update where you'll actually be able to get a glowing brick :D

I made a glowing effect by changing a mesh's Vertex Color variable through a loop (Only through greyscale colours). And to make it look more realistic, I made the timing between changing random.

Just copy the brick, add a blockmesh, make it green and put the transparency at how you want it. Next, both of the bricks need to have the same CFrame, just upgrade the Scale of the blockmesh.
Should result to something similiar to : http://img845.imageshack. us/img845/5012/robloxscreenshot0225201.jpg
Have fun :p |

Lag can make a showcase much more attractive than it was.
