lucid dreaming is when you dream and you realize you are in the dream, then you can control your dreams
scientists have proved this its not fake
ive only accomplished this once in my life
step 1:
look at your watch often throughout the day. time passes differently in dreams. you are more likely to check you watch in your dream when you do it often in real life, so if you look at your watch in a dream you may realize that you're in a dream. SO START CONTROLLING
step 2:
look at you hands and body often; it will make it more likely that you do it in the dream, and your body many nit be the same in a dream, kinda the same concept as a watch
step 3:
tell your brain to lucid dream right before your sleep; let you body go to sleep but have your brain keep thinking a bit before it goes asleep
WARNING: this may cause sleep paralysis where you cant move your body but you're still awake; don't worry its not dangerous, but it does give your brain a sense that there are beings around you so don't freak out
step 4:
lucid dream like a boss and brag to your friends

the warning wont scare you unless
1. paralysis doesn't come into effect
2. you actually tell yourself its paralysis and not aliens
>but what if it is
then you are going for a fun ride
make sure to come back with all of your organs intact |

@exotic
already explained
parts of your brain are already asleep so you cant move your body unless you tell ur brain to wake up fully |

ive actually had sleep paralysis, randomly
it's where the chemical that keeps you from moving in your sleep doesen't deactivate after awakening.
i think it's from suddenly awakening during REM sleep.
i'm guessing, when you're conscious during REM sleep (lucid dream), you can chose to wake up more, err, "forcefully", your brain doesn't expect it and it takes a extra second to prepare before functioning normally?
so you can't move for a few seconds.
it didn't make me panic like most people for some reason. i was able to move before i could even think "wtf".
freaked me out afterwards though. |

yeah, i notice that if i'm sleeping and I want to wake up, it takes a few seconds.
that's just your brain waking up.
i guess you can force yourself to wake up immediately while lucid dreaming. |

sleep paralysis has been describe by people in the past as an "old hag" spirit that drains your life force out
often described as the devil standing on your back looking at you and holding you. several people over the years have describe the feelings of ghost hands holding them so they won't move, breathe and even somehow block your morning wood.
kk goodnight
