Cooler Master Elite K350 case Intel i5 3570k (OC'd @ 4.5Ghz) Akasa Venom Voodoo Ultra Quiet CPU cooler Asus Z77 MoBo (undecided) 8GB Corsair 1600 MHz RAM Geforce GTX 660 (Ti is a possibility) Possible 120GB SSD 2tb HDD Windows 7 Home Premium most likely 23" Iiyama Prolite X2377HDS IPS TFT monitor (full 1080p) Undecided mouse and keyboard
Intending to run most modern games on high-max settings, which the 660 (possible 660 Ti) seems capable of doing. Anything I should change, or get rid of? |

pretty sure the Cooler Master Hyper 212+/212 EVO can overclock up to 4.5GHz and is only $20-$30 the cooler you are choosing can apparently overclock to around 4.8 though
if you wanted to you could drop the RAM down to 1333MHz, won't noticeably impact performance (around 0.001 fps will be lost iirc)
pretty sure the 7870 offers better performance than the 660ti but uncertain |

| Hopefully decent enough to run The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt with decent settings, considering this build can roughly run TW2 at 60-ish FPS on ultra without ubersampling. |

| The 660 Ti is pretty balanced with the 7870, but it generally performs better on games unless they're AMD optimised. |

| Depends where I get parts from, if I build myself or get pre-built, etc. |

@Kevin, yeah I might do that.
@Par, about £700-800ish pre-built. Probably quite a bit cheaper if you build it yourself. |

| Wait, $900? I'm really starting to realize how much I overspent for my PC... Then again I did buy it Nov 2011. |
