This was on my last thread arguing that Louis Armstrong's "What a Wonderful World" should be FO4's poster song. (Look it up. A great song by a great artist from a great period of music. Fits Fallout well, too) Same content in this thread, edited ending.
Picture this, though. Camera focuses in on a radio. "What a Wonderful World" starts playing. Camera zooms out. There is a man reading a paper in a chair next to the table the radio is sitting on. He has the look of a businessman who just got home from a long day at work. Camera continues to zoom out. A woman walks up to the man and hands him a bottle of Nuka cola. She has the look of a 1950s housewife. He begins to kiss her as the camera zooms out of the open window and out of their house. The house has the look of a normal American home, untouched by the Great War.
Camera zooms more. The street is clean and full of similar looking homes. People in nice suits of pre-war clothing are walking down the street. You notice children playing on a playground outside what appears to be an operating school. Vehicles that look like highly advanced cars are on the roads too. Camera zooms out to reveal giant walls made out of scrap metal around this typical American neighborhood. By now, the song has begun to fade a bit. The camera is now at the walls. The walls are lined with what appears to be soldiers in highly advanced power armor wielding a new variant of energy weapon.
The song is barely audible now. One of the soldiers point towards something below the walls. Another soldier steps up, aims his weapon, and shoots. The camera follows the bolt of red energy. It strikes a man below. He is dressed in simple rags scavenged from the wastes. As the laser hits him, his skin and clothing burn and wither away like dust. He hits the ground a blackened skeleton. As the camera zooms out, the land surrounding the walls is barren, and lined with rubble piles and the skeletons of skyscrapers. You also notice several bodies around the walls, indicating encounters similar to the last.
Camera keeps zooming. Inside the walls is a much larger city, with lights, the sounds of cars, and what appear to be vertibirds hovering around. It is very futuristic looking compared to the old world buildings outside the walls. As the camera continues to zoom out, a black clad figure is revealed, his back towards the camera. His armor is very similar to the NCR veteran ranger armor, though it has been modified in a uniform color of black and blue, with a flag resembling a strange mix of Canadian, American, and French influences. The strange figure removes a Gauss rifle from his back, and grasps it tightly. He glances over his shoulder. Just as the glowing blue eyes of his helmet make eye contact with the camera, the screen goes black. "War. War never changes."

| Bro, it will probably be announced at E3 this year, chill out. I'm thinking a release sometime in very late 2013 or early-mid 2014 |

Probably, though they have been known to announce at completely random times during the year.

I seriously hope Fallout 4 takes place in Canada or Alaska.
Or at least a main-land US state close enough to Canada to be influenced by it. |

it's fun, but it's not very satisfying and the gameplay literally becomes
1) press VATS button on input device 2) target area with highest percentage 3) fire 4) move position 5) repeat |

Boston supposedly, though if I had it my way, there would be an Imperial-like military faction operating out of (To)Ronto.(mentioned in The Pitt as a strong military power) I put one such trooper in this little writing project.

pretty sure by (to)ronto they meant toronto ohio
as toronto ohio is only about 45 miles away from pittsburgh, whereas toronto canada is about 320 miles |

Eh, Toronto, Canada is larger and it would make sense, considering the Imperialism I had in mind. The Fallout Wiki also suggests Canada.

also from the fallout wiki
" It may also refer to the pre-war city of Toronto, Ohio, given the fact that it is a mere 30 miles away from the Pitt, right downstream on the Ohio River." |
