People thought Sandy is better than it really is. Until now. Place: New York, U.S.A. Year: 2012 ________________________ Chapter 1: Just Small Things ________________________ As I sit in my penthouse with my brother, as the warm fall sun is blanketing my middle-complected skin. My skin is like....in the middle of pale and tan. Back to topic. "Bella, I feel kind of strange..." said Jacob, my brother. "What do you mean by strange?" I questioned, looking into his brown eyes then looking back out the window. "Like something's gonna happen, like something BAD." he replied. "Well, I don't know Jacob." I replied back. Then, I walked into my room and slept on my bed with my fluffy black Pomeranian dog, Lexy. ________________ Chapter 2: Hold on! ________________ When I woke up, Lexy was sleeping at the foot of my bed. Then my family came in screaming, "GRAB YOUR LAPTOP, PHONE AND LEXY!!!" I got Lexy, my water proof Apple laptop and iPhone 4GS. We opened a raft as a hurricane blew by. I looked on my phone and researched the detail of it, realizing it was Hurricane Sandy. I put Lexy and my other items into my bag, trying so hard to paddle out of the streets of Brooklyn. We finally got out, and into a flooded forest. My family put the raft into a tall red-wood tree and climbed it with harnesses. They had food, including: 10 boxes of raspberries, 10 bottles of lemonade, a cooked lobster and a large steak. We sat in the tree for awhile, the cold moon blanketing our skin. I got out a blanket, made a leaf pillow then slept. We all slept on different branches. Then looking at the ground, I saw Lexy. I quickly grabbed another harness, she bit on it and I pulled her up. She is so obedient! No dog would have known to do that. |

What is wrong with you?
You're making up a story about a tragic event, for attention and replies?
Really?
Really?
I'm sickened by you. |

| Or the Great Depression? Cold War? Civil War? World War I and II? Titanic? Yeah, they're all tragic so I wanted to make a TRAGIC story in the "Realistic Fiction" category. Trust me, you would be even more sickened by the "I SURVIVED" series, including Pearl Harbor, Hurricane Katrina, Titanic and more. So yeah, try writing realistic fiction because you wouldn't have criticized my Hunger Games story if you knew that "The Hunger Games" was based on a real event that was hosted in China years ago. |

| Cold War wasn't tragic. And hunger games wasn't based on anything. |

Well I don't think I need to research to know The Cold War wasn't that tragic. Its more like a mutually ironic joke.
And I'm pretty sure the hunger games isn't based on anything. And if it were it was long lost in all the teenage romance. |

| The Hunger Games wasn't based on anything. The closest thing it's based on is gladiatorial games in Rome, in my opinion. |

The hunger games is what you get when you place autistic teens into a forest.
Also, you're right. I can't right historical fiction, because of my inherent human decency. |

Hey whoever said that the cold war wasn't tragic, (too lazy to copy the name (pathetic ikr)) in the cold war people lived in an era of hiding no one could share secrets or do anything spy incorporations controlled every one and someone could be put in jail for years for just writing a story on what they thought.
There are a lot of books and movies on how the cold war go check for you self.
And no cold wars weren't only fought in winter... |

| Yeah but like I said its more of an ironic joke. Its not like millions were brutally blown up in a spontaneous explosion like they thought would happen. |

| No but it was worst, I mean imagine this, you could be put in jail for the rest of your life if your school mate said that you belived in this, even if it was a lie you could risk going to jail for life. |
