I don't know what I will do. I mean, it fits perfectly.

I don't know if they'd do that.....
Much like Fallout 3, they might make their own theme.
But if they did this, I'd buy it.

Best soundtrack for a game, ever. Listening to the radio while traveling in the wastes with my Super Mutana Fawkes and my dog Dogmeat, made me feel lonely. |

What? No, Fallout 3's theme song was released over 60 years before it was developed, lol.

I'd say the main menu music is more of the main theme.
I don't want to set the world on fire is more of an iconic song in the game. |

I never stated I Don't Want to Set the World On Fire was the theme. I just said I liked the song.
I do love the "da nuuuuuuuuu nuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu da dun" theme on main menu of FO3, though. |

"I don't want to set the world on fire" was more or less the poster song for it. Same concept here.

Oh, my bad. I thought you meant the title screen theme. |

Well, I thought it was 60 years. Pretty sure The Ink Spots hit song came out in 1946...
Anyways, I might have misused "theme" anyway, drake. Not your fault.

| Seeing as there might be more vegetation and trees, this would be a fitting theme, while still feeling post-apocalyptic. |

| I don't know... It doesn't really seem to click with me, maybe it's the overly cheerful nature of the song, when the games are well, bleak and dirty. |

This is like Fallout 3. Irony.

| Eh, the Irony is there but Fallout 3's song was both ironic and fit the mood of Fallout. This is definitely ironic but doesn't seem to fit the mood as well. |

Eh, we'll just have to see. If 4 is a direct sequel to 3 (they say it will be) then it might work, since the actions of The Lone Wanderer would have furthered civilization in the East. With that, the environment would probably be more upbeat. Not saying I want a much better atmosphere, I still want to explore bombed out cityscapes and scream in terror if I run into a horde of feral ghouls in the abandoned metro. It would make sense, though.

| According to rumours the game takes place in Boston and that the environments would look like "nothing ever seen from a Fallout game." Also the BOS would not have a presence in the game. Perhaps a large area of the map will be a high tech area similar to New vegas with a new BOS like faction with access to advanced techonolgy (the commonwealth can create Androids, if they can create a machine that perfectly mimics mankind what else can they do?) while the rest of the landscape is desolate and untouched. |

I heard that too, but I also saw that FO3 will have ties to the plot of FO4.
Picture this, though. Camera focuses in on a radio. This song starts playing. Camera zooms out. There is a man reading a paper in a chair next to the table the radio is sitting on. He has the look of a businessman who just got home from a long day at work. Camera continues to zoom out. A woman walks up to the man and hands him a bottle of Nuka cola. She has the look of a 1950s housewife. He begins to kiss her as the camera zooms out of the open window and out of their house. The house has the look of a normal American home, untouched by the Great War.
Camera zooms more. The street is clean and full of similar looking homes. People in nice suits of pre-war clothing are walking down the street. You notice children playing on a playground outside what appears to be an operating school. Vehicles that look like highly advanced cars are on the roads too. Camera zooms out to reveal giant walls made out of scrap metal around this typical American neighborhood. By now, the song has begun to fade a bit. The camera is now at the walls. The walls are lined with what appears to be soldiers in highly advanced power armor wielding a new variant of energy weapon.
The song is barely audible now. One of the soldiers point towards something below the walls. Another soldier steps up, aims his weapon, and shoots. The camera follows the bolt of red energy. It strikes a man below. He is dressed in simple rags scavenged from the wastes. As the laser hits him, his skin and clothing burn and wither away like dust. He hits the ground a blackened skeleton. As the camera zooms out, the land surrounding the walls is barren, and lined with rubble piles and the skeletons of skyscrapers. You also notice several bodies around the walls, indicating encounters similar to the last.
Camera keeps zooming. Inside the walls is a much larger city, with lights, the sounds of cars, and what appear to be vertibirds hovering around. It is very futuristic looking compared to the old world buildings outside the walls. Screen goes black. "War. War never changes."

| @Killer, why haven't you been hired by Bethesda yet? Seriously, you should write the plot of Fallout 4. |
