| They grow up speaking the English language, yet they cannot tell the difference between 'their', 'there', and 'they're'. |

And I am sure that natives of all languages make mistakes with "forms" as well...
Don't just attack the English teachers, when they are not the only culprit. |

"Their so stupid!" Yea, hate to burst your bubble, but I'm British, and what you said was "their" but should be "they're". Here's a low down on how to sort this out.
Their is used about a person and directed towards them. For example: Their hair looks like a mess.
There is used to describe a place. For example: Look over there.
They're is a shortened "they are" so it's a description or someone. For example: They're quite annoying sometimes.

"They're is a shortened "they are" so it's a description or someone" Just found a spelling mistake, look where it says at "Description OR someone" it meant to be "of". Minor spelling mistake.

That's what I said(ish). The words They are, is the descriptive term for They're for people or/and items.

| It's because people tend not to read their sentences after posting them, and with their and they're being h0_monyms, it's perfectly understandable why someone could make such a mistake. Hey, that's where puns came from, didn't it? |
