Go for Hard Rock. You can actually understand it and it's not about "swag chainz money yo" or "omg my bf just broke up with me!" Also, Metal has more composition than any other genre, believe it or not. Metal is not the devil stuff though. The stereotyping of rock and metal is actually screemo, which still doesn't talk about the devil, but is negative, much more than metal. Here is an overview of each:
Hard Rock: Understandable and softer than the following two genres. It is not negative, nor positive. Completely neutral, some songs less than others.
Metal: On the negative side, but not too much. It is basically and lighter backgrounded counterpart of screemo.
Screemo: Hard to understand (lol) |
