I'm thinking of adding this to the raider's team in my new project in which they will choose a class when they spawn, thoughts?

| Depends on exactly how many classes you would want to make. |

Five.
Well, I guess you'd need a variation of most. Like per say they choose a class, and that is their class for the whole game. But they can buy upgrades for the class only while in game.
One example could be a bowman could purchase a longbow to replace his shortbow, or perhaps a sling or crossbow.
It really just depends on how the map is made and how gameplay style will evolve. |

Veulixs is a medieval clan, what I am doing for our castle is;
Selling weapon upgrades and such at stores for gold you've earned killing.
I'm thinking of selling Game Passes that gives extra weapons, but I'm not much of a Noble weapons guy.

I would enjoy raiding or defending if I join Crusaders.
If you have the classes settled, might I ask if your forts include siege weaponry such as ballistas and trebuchets? |

My friend made a mangonel, but it's like none animated since he can't do animations, but I'm gonna ask my other friend. Another issue might be is that it has a lot of parts

| Generally how many bricks do your forts have, then? If you have that generalized, you can try to make the models the appropriate number of bricks in order for them to fit into the map without causing some degree of major lag. |

Varies honestly. MY last fort I made had 20k+, but some of it was destroyable (HP script which removes from place once destroyed). which would loose like 3k ish bricks.
another one was 12k, but little to no destruction

If Crusader is active enough, you should try running a practice raid with siege weaponry you create in the near future. If it generates to much lag, you should get together with some builders and scripters in Crusader to figure out how to reduce brick size to both your suege weapinry and in some cases the fort itself.
I can imagine that if it's 12,000-20,000 bricks, it's a pretty balanced battlefield? |

My view on "fair" forts.
I'm medieval based. 90% of the time in the middle ages, the attackers had the advantage. Hush up now.

I was just wondering. At Dresnok we don't give much of an advantage to the defenders, since raiders usually beat us there first.
But that could probably work out for you to incorporate siege weapons in. Though I do like the class system.

Also, I try to change the objective of the base each time I create a new one. Like Castle Nusium was point based, Rakkauden was based on destroying the 3rd gate. The temp base I'm making now is based on control points. I like to be "different" then being repetitive in the way of raiding or defending. Makes it more fun too.
In my old bases I had siege towers, but it's always a hassle to use them because they are never right with the bridge animation :I I still use rams at least, lol

| I think pillaging is more geared towards a medieval era. Like having a small town in the castle that the raiders have to burn down with fire. But then allow the defenders to put out the fire with water. But, it's whatever you want. |

Vek, that's what rakkauden had once you destroyed the 3rd gate. There was a village there.

| I'll think about joining. Modern era clans and space era clans are starting to bore me. |

they always bore me, lol. It's not fun when you can shoot someone like 100+ studs away instead of trying to actually dodge a sword and such,

I'm really only tied to them because I'm a HR in Grey Army and a space era clan called The Cintagun Empire.
Otherwise I'd be fighting with a boarding axe as a viking. |
