AC:EA is reforming our education system. Recently we installed a failed Academy program called "AC:EA University" This university sucked all life out of our group, and we want to know what to do to replace it.
Proposal 1: (As quoted by TheOneTrueShinnon)
"Quality over Quantity: I've recently watched an hour long video that was a CEO of a game development company talk about what made his company successful. The interesting thing in this, however, was that a big factor in his company was that people don't have titles. Now, what this would mean for us in our case, is that high ranks would not seem so out-of-reach, cold, or distant from you, and instead always be by everyone's side. An example of this would be that I don't like being called "sir". A reason for this is because I feel you shouldn't have to pretend like you respect someone. You shouldn't have to feel obliged to do something in a group. If you do, you should leave. You should do what you feel is appropriate and deserved by the group. After all, you don't need the group at all, however the group does need you. Another important factor the man said was that a quality employee with high production rates and high quality standards, is (managerially speaking) worth however many factors of a unit of production more than a person at another company (i.e. if you write 4,000 lines a day, and I write 1,000, then you are worth four times as much as I). What this means is that someone can be four times as productive than someone else, and that they should be rewarded for doing so. i.e. You should not have to follow a trodden path to reach a new rank even though you put a lot of effort into the group."
Proposal 2: (As quoted by Darkassassinkiller)
"We shorten the university classes, get rid of them by half, and keep the university. Once we do this, we increase activity by raiding more often"
Proposal 3: (As quote by Catman9876)
"The plan is simple, remove the university, and start a required grammar program. Before being allowed to train, a scholar (lowest rank) is given a simple 5 question grammar test. If he passes, he is permitted to be in the military and train. If not, he will have to try again until he passes. Increase activity by holding 3 assemblies every day for 2 weeks, these assemblies will hold testing and training for all."
[Please respond with which proposal you like, your vote could decide the future of AC:EA]

I really think we should educate the future Assassini. My statement means, we should keep the classes. The scholars should know what they are fighting for. Though I do agree we should shorten the classes. The classes should be short but to the point. Like in school, scholars must learn how to take notes.

I vote for Proposal 3. Proposal 1 will increase chaos, rather than activity. In Proposal 2, simply cutting lessons in half and raiding will not increase activity. This may also reduce the quality of the soldiers as they will know less.

Catman's "Idea" was my idea. lololo Took credit My final proposal: PROPOSAL NUMBER FOUR: Grammar school(Proposal #3) is REQUIRED upon promotion to BOTH Novice AND Soldier. (3 of 5 correct sentences for Novice, 5 of 5 for Soldier). Fraction of Proposal #2, keep military tactics as a REQUIRED class for promotion above Soldier(Any rank above Soldier can raid). Proposal #1 Fraction: Make exceptions for the more active and more productive of the group. If you put in a ton of effort towards the group, and you're active, you can and more than likely will be promoted(This counts towards ANY rank below Warrior)
Summary: Grammar school required for promotion to Novice and Soldier(3/5 for Novice, 5/5 for soldier), military tactics class required for promotion past Soldier(So we aren't sending random people in who have no idea what they're doing). Novices must participate in training to be promoted to soldier, WITH the grammar test(To finalize the promotion, grammar test taken ON SITE). Novices and Soldiers can defend, all ranks above Soldier are allowed to raid. If you're a Novice or a Soldier caught on the field during a raid, you will be demoted. If you put in a lot of effort towards the group and are active in it, an exception may and probably will be made for your promotion(Any rank below Warrior) |

But, if I should give my opinion on this, I'd say that we should make the Expendables official again (optional, okay, don't start raging at me). We'd then make a training route with all normal trainings and a smaller part would be History or Military Tactics, since all the other classes were just --. So, then, activity would be kept, and we would be ready to declare a war. A war that all Assassini in the group hunger for. I'd say VAK. Now, rank-ups would work as Shinnon said, since that's just wonderful. This is my opinion.

We should keep classes. Period. Our warriors need to know what our group is fighting for. Any other decisions I do not care for. If we don't have lessons, we'll have, for the lack of a better term, noobs running about, not even caring for the tenets, the Creed, the Mentors, or the combat tactics. Anyways classes is a good filter for warriors and the knowledgeable.

My view on this (I had to miss the meeting due to RL problems)
We remove the university, start holding multiple trainings, start more raids, tick a few clans off and get them to raid us, I do however feel we need organization.
Maybe we should be nicer to LRs, I saw someone get angry when I corrected him. The HR's also need a reform. Stricter schedules for them, keeping their uniform to keep p their image in the group.

By the power vested in me, I bring this post back to life! Necroposting ftw. Anyways. Back in the old days, Dragonflare and I used to be the only active HRs in AC:EA. Farewell, friends. I must away before dawn comes, to seek the enchanted treasures of mine that have been long lost.
