This will explain the rankings of members within the Royal Navy
First thing is that all of the Admirals have an equal ranking, there isn't one higher than the other unless they have been titled.
However, each Admiral is in charge of a specific topic on which they specialise in, they are as follows:
-Admiral in Charge of Discipline and Weapons: Sir Admiral Setter12 -Admiral in Charge of Training and Physical Fitness: Sir Admiral CoolBoy9110 -Admiral in Charge of Data and NPP: Sir Admiral Goal123123 -Admiral in Charge of Presentation and Uniform: Zivnuska12
All of these Admirals do the things but they specialise in their own topic.
To be a CO in the Royal Navy you need to be a Midshipman or higher.
Another thing is that only Captains+ can drive ships unless your ordered to, apart from that you are forbidden to drive them. When you get to Captain, you are getting into the higher section and you are allowed to Command your own ship unless a higher rank says otherwise. Moreover, once you get to Captain, earning promotions will become slightly harder and when you do get one, a ceremony will be held on your great achievement.
However if you wish to get a head start and become an Navy Officer (Midshipman or Lieutenant), joining the Royal Navy Academy would be advisable, so we can test your leadership skills and requirements to become a CO. Otherwise, you start as Able Seaman.
Thats your guide to rankings, it will be updated if things change.
