What effect do Friend Request ads give? Like, what is so appealing about them? Do the people who join the group that is being advertised EXPECT to have the Leader's FR sent to them? Can they really be that gullible or shallow?
FR ads= recruitment method= on topic. |

Well, roblox as we all know is mianly dominated by 8-12 year olds, in clans, the intelligent people are a bit older
So, these 8-12 year olds, see a FR, and they believe or at least in my theory
they would become cooler, or special if someone special or famous on roblox SENT THEM a FR, and if they hit accept on the ad, they will probably think they got him/her as a friend
then they see the clan, see its owner/HR's and decide to join |

When I see an ad of someone with a million tix, robux, etc, I understand, noobs want to either make fun of the guy or have what he has. Or just curiosity.
But seeing some leader, even if it is someone we don't know, appearing in a friend request ad, I mean- why? Is it also curiosity?
Btw, I maybe criticizing it but that doesn't mean I won't use them myself. |

Hmm...
I don't really understand why they'd work either, but ads seem to work for some people. So...
Also, intelligence isn't related to age. 8 to 12 year olds can be more intelligent than anyone on this forum. Heck, there are 16 year old doctors, (you normally need like 8 years of college to become a doctor). It's not like they are a freshman or sophomore in high school, then skyrocket to doctor. They start young. Furthermore, often times you're at your peak performance when you're around 11 and 12.
I was able to solve math problems much faster, such as doing long division in my head within a few seconds, back when I was 12. It takes me about 2x or 3x longer now. (So like 10 seconds).

| As I am in the area of art and such, and publicity is involved, it is interesting for me to know your opinions of this. I suppose we all agree that it is the desire of young minds, and other factors such as boredom, curiosity, and such that trigger the unusual popularity which works remarkably with the masses. |

Hmm...
The first needs a person will have, is food, water, and then safety. Next, comes acceptance, and generally, most people follow this trend. So, assuming these younger kids on ROBLOX that you all believe to be clicking these ads have food, water, and a safe home, or perhaps have stability on this site, then the next item on the list is acceptance. Being friends with a famous person might give them some bragging chips, something that makes them feel accepted, important in society.

It's supposed to be appealing but, alas it makes me less appealed. The original idea was cheap and quick to do aswell, supposed to be appealing. |

Indeed.
Although it is clear that the ads are not the "friend requests tab", those new to the game might be fooled or tricked by it and once they do click the ad and see the group or whatever that is under advertisement, they will explore it even further. |

Yeah, more experience players should notice that it's an ad. Some people follow ads anyway though.
New members to ROBLOX are a good thing though. Very fresh minds to work with, ;)

Maybe, maybe not.
Experienced fighters might have a certain level of pride they bring along with them. From this, they can become harder to work with and harder to teach. Granted, not all exhibit this sort of behavior.
You can also work with them before bad habits are formed. (Like jumping in sword fights). Sure, it works sometimes, but it should be avoided in most cases.

It's the simplicity of young generations on ROBLOX to be **tricked** and think it has a FR request, evidently most will accept, and others will ignore - yet the ones who do click on it will see this clan as a "friend" clan.

| However, one of the flaws FR ads brings is that the younger generations lack the ability and skills as a more experienced and older generation. Therefore they will not understand or acknowledge the concept of clans as fast as others. Yet, SC has fantastic trainers whom associate themselves with these members and help them learn. |
